For certain things yes, the competition does it better.
No one currently beats wow pvp.
I will say that ffxiv does raiding better and social tools /priorities better.
Gw2 has the best open world and mounts.
Eso has a more mature story line and the voice acting is awesome.
New world has a great first two weeks of content.
At the end of the day, wow has the best total package.
