Lets all come together for fixes!

Lets use this thread to talk about potential fixes for our classes and specs that the developers can use.

I will start, for shaman tanks i would like to see the following changes and here is why.

  1. Molten blast should be a 180° cone and have no target cap, as it currently stands the ability is very clunky to use and the fact it hits 4 random targets makes it unreliable for tanking yet it is our definitive tanking spell, not to mention as it stands alliance are the only ones who get a tank with an uncapped spammable aoe tank move in paladins, this would help even the field.

  2. Please consider moving water shield to a different slot as it stands it is the only non damaging move on that slot and honestly makes no sense. Maybe move it to chest slot so it can be a choice between the shield block/armor and more mana regain and move overload to the hands slot so it profides meaningful choices

  3. And this is a big one as i recently decided to level a shaman tank please untie way of the earth from rockbiter weapon imbue as it stands we are the only tank whos tank stance can drop due to a timer… ethire make it a perma buff so long as the rune and a shield are equipped or make imbues permanent untill canceled

  4. Please consider adjusting things like molten blast and lava lash damage, as it stands as enhance i find myself casting spells more than melle particularly lava burst as it just deals so much damage compared to the other options when i am solo or dps.

All of these are shaman buffs, and shamans need exactly zero buffs as they are overperforming as both dps and tanks in enhancement.

Counter suggestions:

Make molten blast hit the shaman instead

Make water shield take two slots

Make earthbiter weapon reduce all damage done

Make molten blast and lava lash hit nearby allies

Earthbiter should def have a -20% damage tagged to it.

And I just want to see the friendly fire QQ threads for the other one.

Shadowflame not benefitting from spell power, dealing very little damage, and no effects. It needs some massive improvements to be competitive with Demonic Knowledge.

Minions are very weak in comparison to Hunter’s pets. At lv 40 with BiS, and spec’d into demonology, they’re only slightly stronger than my hunter’s pet was at lv 25. Perhaps an increase in their benefit from spellpower for their stats.

Pets/Minions still spawning with only half HP or less. Whether a full new summon, respawning at the graveyard in a BG, or BM event, they do not spawn with full HP as they should.

Soul Siphon seems like a dead Rune, maybe make it a belt one or massively improve it.

Demonic Sacrifice has no viable interaction with it’s own talent tree. Demonology is centered around synergizing, buffing your demon, and survivability. It has go way to combine with any demonology focused runes, nor anything else from the tree it comes from.

Conjured items in general need a massive buff or need to be in some way effected by stats. A 600 heal in a BG already is a joke, especially having to precast, use a soulshard and 2 minute cooldown.

Wards from spellstone and Ward spells in general need an overhaul, like seriously, what is 290 damage going to do for me? That’s not even enough for 2 ticks from Void Plague. Is Fireward even going to block a single Incinerate from me?

Some buffs such as Fireshield, Thorns, Lightningshield, and various armors that provide additional effects like MP5 or HP5 need buffing as they have not kept up with our new stats and do not possess a way of scaling. (crafted items like food and bandages too for that matter.)

Nerf: Everything else, but ESPECIALLY shaman tank/dps

Hand of reckoning sort of fixes that, but RF doesn’t persist through death still. I have no issue with the rune making it last longer - though I suspect this is one of those “sounds easy but technically isn’t” issues.

yea but with hand of reck its a perma buff the shammy imbue is 5 mins and also they need to fix being able to change your imbue its clunky as all heck atm, last night i decided to dps a few sm runs instead of tank and i found myself constantly putting rockbiter on over windfury, and no i dont care that rock biter would do a bit more dmg i was there to be dps not a tank and a dps job is to pewpew while watching aggro
