not only was frostmourne reforged, we allegedly reforged it stronger than it was before, and then tossed it aside like scrap metal once the new expansion came along.

Ashbringer, Doomhammer, Scepter of sargeras, the literal naaru and old god priests had, all weaker than the first green some random mob dropped lol.

I’m cool with a DK exclusive cosmetic that is the original frostmourne. Tie it to a long quest chain or something

Frostmourne was broken when Arthas was killed, and the pieces were turned into two swords. This is what I have read when doing the DK artifact quests.

Please, just let us step away from the Lich Kings lore and not ruin anymore of it. We all know Danloser hates the Lich King and completely destroyed its lore for me so please, let us move on to dragons, a moon and son god, a Titan that will somehow hatch (I think her spirit will come out instead) and the off brand Star wars.

Consider it like reforging the Shards of Narsil into Anduril. The original sword may have some baggage attached, but reforging it into a new sword and putting it into the hands of someone trying to do something good with it (kinda), could still be worth doing. Considering the power that sword contains (and the reputation it has) it could be a powerful symbol.

I’d LOVE to have the frostmourne mog; it just seems incredibly unlikely. Then again…who knows, every paladin has Ashbringer =/

I mean, the thing was made for the sole purpose of stealing souls to empower the user. Last i checked stealing souls, even badguy souls was bad.

I wasn’t talking about reforging it EXACTLY as it was with the powers it previously had.

Even the OP said, “without its curse” which would imply it wouldn’t have the ability to steal souls either.

Maybe Death Knight’s can recreate Frostmourne through a quest line from retrieving the soul gem from Andiun’s sword.

WoW characters kill people all the time, so why is yoinking some evil souls to power your sword bad?

I steal souls in a daily basis for reputation, dailies, gear and such. I’ve tons of spells that say that too.

I dont mind a long quest for it. Just a comestical transmog, im all in.

DH have the Warglaives of Azzinoth, Shamans have the Doomhammer, Paladins Ashbringer…
DKs ? 2 toothpicks.
