Simply, disable XP gains, let people log in to the world, and goof off, naow. This will be a kind of live stress test AND a real time population indicator for y’all over this weekend, before there’s a massive influx on Monday and all hell breaks loose. This will encourage people to move away from full realms now, and may also show if even more realms are required. Thanks!

I just think Blizz has no idea what’s coming on Mon. My cousin will be playing, but hasn’t reactivated his account yet - waiting until Sunday he says. Monday is going to be STORMY like a daniels.

Well at least folks like you and me were smart and pre-ordered the Classic WoW Ultimate Edition so we can play on the 26th. Those “normal” people have to wait for the regular release on September 2nd. Although those with the Battle Net Access Pass get a 12 hour headstart on the 26th

Yes there will. Myself among them. And my entire guild - don’t think anyone I play with would resub early. Makes sense for retail players, but I find it hard to imagine that the majority of ‘true classic fans’ are currently subbed.
