Can’t believe I have to answer this but if they were playing a single player game it’d be fine but
- the gold is botted
- the raid leader sells gold at bulk rates to wow gold websites
- players swipe their card to get enough gold to buy gear
- players who don’t want to break ToS are at a gear disadvantage in terms of progression and entry to raids
- lots of extra gold floating around the economy causes inflation, making it more and more difficult for players who don’t buy gold to be able to buy consumables
- geared raiders see their time as being able to be valued in gold / hour and attendance at non-GDKP raids suffers
- deaths and wipes are seen as serious problems rather than as part of the gaming experience
- it’s faster and easier to pay for boosts to level cap rather than level in the open world, this depletes the open world
So at every level, GDKPs and boosts are net negatives for the game.

if i ask a question and then ignore or handwave off the answer i can pretend nobody can answer it!
if i feign ignorance and completely ignore all explanations i can pretend to not see the damage im causing!
if i keep asking the same question over and over, the answer might change into something i can argue against and thatll make me right!
Its been explained so many times before that at this point, nobody is going to say it again just to be handwaved off or ignored because you dont like the answers given.

How else are they going to get paid real life USD $$ to play wow, ensure they always can afford everything, whenever, however much and when they want. While also prepaying 10 years of their WoW sub.
Won’t someone think of the poor GDKPers. They might have to actually quest, do dailies and actually play the game how its intended to earn gold.
I find it hilarious how purposely blind they are (or just dont care) that the direct inflation this causes makes doing world quests, dailies, etc pointless for all the non-GDKP players because things get so overly inflated.

I am not sure given that classic classic progresses to tbc we want to have gfkp in vanilla raids where 99% of equipment will at best be preraid or replaced by r14/tbc dungeon blues. If it is added it will likely be added in tbc when the glaives drop.
So in short I do not think we want to deal with people who want to buy what is in essence pre dark portal best in slot.

It totally kills the social aspect of the game. There are very little guilds that would run Different loot systems on Whitemane era. The only thing that was available were pug GDKP run runs, No one talks, people complain about the stupidest things. No, thanks to that toxicity .
There are many more issues with it that don’t belong.
