Just as we did in BFA and SL, we had to break our immersion into the current expansion by going to an old “capital city” to do a thing.
Valdrakken is a stupidly awesome capital city on its own. Having to travel to Orgrimmar to turn WM back on feels very pointless and once again breaks immersion.
Just let us turn WM on in the current expansion’s capital from here on out, starting with Valdrakken.

There’s a portal to Stormwind or Orgrimmar in Valdrakken though.

We’re pretty much in a “cold war era,” post BFA/Shadowlands.
Doesn’t matter what Blizzard says, they can/will always change it depending on how things are going.
They’re already positioning Turalyon to be a warhawk type figure.
Yeah but it’s a really unnecessary thing to have to go through. Valdrakken has literally everything else, including a baseline auction house. We shouldn’t have to go back to Orgrimmar for one button and one button only in the whole game.
Unless I’m missing something the factions aren’t really competing at all right now, violently or otherwise. It obviously could change though (and hopefully will).
I’m actually glad for this. I, for one am sick of the childish faction war and both factions trying to one up each other.
It is a bit weird you can’t toggle it on in any major city. I don’t see what the big deal is.

With all due respect you’re literally playing a game called World of Warcraft.
This isn’t IRL, I use this game to get into violent (virtual) altercations with people that don’t share the same beliefs as me.
They are from a narrative sense, but Warmode still exists for those who like PVP. It’s not really canon, and that’s how it should be.
With all due respect, not everyone cares about the faction war. If you care about slaughtering each other in the name of “Blood” and “Honor” and “Justice”, then more power to you.

Nobody is stopping you from going back to Orgrimmar or Stormwind to turn war mode on if they allow us to turn it on in Valdrakken.
