I went out and farmed the various different appearances for the Imp, Observer/Darkglare, Doomguard etc just to find out they don’t apply to the imps we summon as demonology nor to the PvP Talent ‘‘Summon Observer’’ or Doomguard summoned through Doom
This was very depressing to find out, I don’t see the harm in allowing us demonology warlocks to use the different available appearances for our Imps and Observer, especially when you take into account spec fantasy

I’m still bamboozled by the fact that demonology’s primary pet is still just a rank-and-file Felguard or Wrathguard. I feel like it should have been upgraded to a Fel Lord or Wrath Lord (if such a thing exists) by now, since we’ve been slaying literal gods basically every expansion.

Im still confused why our demon appearances are locked at all. Like wtf. We went out and got the things.
News flash: Not buffing #timeplayed for visuals. Just wont. Wont spent real money on them either.
If there is a short, i mean short, questline for an appearance, sure. I am okay with it. As long as i can do it in like 30 mins, and its entertaining, like a game should be. But if your expecting us to do a 40 long questline that takes 2 weeks with a multiple wipe boss at the end for a imp skin, ill never do it.

The strangest part is that they created a system to support adding more demon appearances but they just dropped it.
0 mentions on adding more demon appearances to the new demon transmog system. This system came out last expansion. You’d think they fixed the shrinking of both felguard/wrathguard models or bring back wrathguard’s double wielding 2 handers and fix the weapon shrinkage that happens in both of them.

Nope.
Money.
Microsoft merger.
It’d be cool if Demo Warlocks could learn a talent (via tome) that’d allow them to change the appearance of their Felguard with that of any targeted demon, similar to how Mages can with Illusion, but with demons.
Guys please stop suggesting this, this should never happen
It would look and feel so stupid
If i am permanently summoning a fel lord then I fully intend on being able to solo the current raid tier and be a literal god in PvP.
We are rpg characters not npc raid bosses
It will come. Warlock gets the most flavor out of the majority of the other classes. It’s just a matter of when, not if.
Blizz is pouring their heart into this expansion so far, it has the most content of any launch in a very very long time. When the bandwith is there for warlock flavor they will add it again. I will always choose overall game quality over class flavor, and you guys should too.
While I could literally write an essay on warlock pet issues, my personal opinion in regards to demonology pet is this: a choice between a felguard or doomguard as primary/permanent pet absolutely makes sense for demonology, which not only thematically fitting, but also offers a much needed flexibility/variety.
Let’s be honest here: as much as I like my felguard/wrathguard, there are times where a ranged pet is highly preferable. Not to mention having more pet flexibility/choices is generally a much more welcoming position for us.
Of course some adjustment work would be required, example: giving an Aoe attack to doomguard like shadow bolt volley to match felguard Aoe, remove the idiotic channeling requirement on cripple, talent reworks to work with doomguard like demonic strength etc.

Honestly, how blizz bases its playstyle around demo, using both at the same time isnt a radical idea, in fact, its ideal. It makes sense. Just bc BM hunters received it first doesnt mean it doesnt fit demo as well.
