People put tanking on too much of a pedestal. If you can play melee dps, you can tank. Literally just click defensive instead of offensive buttons. You should know the dungeon layout and mechanics regardless.

Was tanking a kings rest heroic and while i was waiting for the pally dps to come to the final boss the hunter just went ahead and pulled. I just sat there and watched and of course the healer just heals everyone (Healers always say they can’t heal stupid, but ends up healing stupid…idk) they killed the boss and i end up getting an upgrade. Yep i got an upgrade and i didn’t have to do jack lol.

I don’t mind people pulling at all, but when it’s without Tricks of the Trade, Misdirect, and they do that thing where they run away from me instead of toward me, simply expecting me to round up the mess they’ve made and pull it all together, it’s infuriating.
I don’t mind people pulling at all - in fact, I vastly prefer it, but there’s so many people who do it wrong. Pulling doesn’t help at all if you’re just pulling them away from me.

If I have DPS pulling I just pull faster and more. If the DPS can’t keep up I laugh and ask them to do more damage.

That’s just it, a lot of players won’t grow a pair because they’re simply scared of the role and responsibilities. But they got no problem pulling for the tanks since the dps is just to simply do damage.
Nah, you should be getting it done, especially on a DH. DPS pull all the time, it’s the same as rushing dungeons and is a result of that. If this annoys you then you must be new to tanking quite honestly.
Kicking DPS for pulling is petty and unnecessary, letting them die is not a teaching moment either, you’re just bucking the status quo trying to out rebel the rebels. 
Sorry but if you can not wait 5 seconds to pull something or quad pull packs when I did not want to do so then sorry you do not belong here.

How about you let the tank do their damn job instead.
If you run ahead and pull you will be kicked
If you run ahead and pull a ton of mobs you will be kicked.
It you think kicking a dps for not waiting for the tank is petty, then you obviously know nothing about either roles.

You don’t need icebound fortitude for every worm pack you pull in Underrot.

Great group attitude, your thinking is so old school it’s hard to think you’ve have ever pugged anything in your life.
Seeing you both get so dramatic about dps pulling is both funny and sad.
I do not DPS, I’m also very laid back and chill. If I have issues I communicate this, as a tank you control the group, so if there is a rogue player causing issues then do what you go to do, I just think dps pulling isn’t the issue you make out top be.
Good luck with that, most people will refuse to kick a tank simply because they will have to wait a long time for another. As someone stated above “a dps is easily replaceable, a tank is not”

Ehh not really, i kicked them and its a success 90% of the time.
The key is to just write “AFK” and people wont bother to look at the name.
Since your example was a heroic King’s rest…no, kick the tank, I’ll tank it in my DPS spec. It’s a heroic. Competence isn’t necessary, patience isnt necessary

You are a dps, not a tank so its not your call to make, You play at the tanks pace and if not then you can wait another 30min in que.

Who dies to mobs in queue content? A lot of that can be soloed. And if your tank is so slow on pulls in +'s they should be kicked for killing a key by being slow.

Nah, if the tank is too slow I’ll pull and tank as my holy priest and request the AFK to drop or do their job
If you are using that little dungeon finder thing then you shouldn’t be rushing the tanks what so ever. They are probably trying to learn the dungeon and figuring out what order to pull things.
But if you want to be a giant baby about it they can just give up and become another dps to make the que longer.
