There could be a sect of mechagnomes dedicated to the balance of nature and tech in order to rebuild mechagon and in that effort the Druid mechagnome was born. There’s even a daily quest on the island were you Help that Druid chick plant trees. With her helping and guiding it could happen.

It would be pretty neat if Efflorescence was like a battery pack instead of a mushroom. Seems like a bit much for Blizzard to be willing to do. Would be a pretty interesting take on things!

On a serious note they should be allowed to become either shaman, druid, paladin or cough demon hunter. Any will do. Just something that the regular gnome can’t be.

Well, given that half of them isn’t even alive, I think they are about as far as you can get from being Druid material, short of actually being dead.
I’d say that would be one of the weirder things Blizzard could do, class-wise.

Still sad that they didn’t implement the PTR suggestion of letting Mechagnomes be Paladins by having a glowing Iron Man style power source in their chest with a Naaru fragment stuck inside.

If they called the class shapeshifter just for them or make it more inclusive to other races tgat would be good. Same class same abilitites different names. Instead of moonkin form you get say a literal lazer chicken for example. Bear form could be a mechanical bear or just mech form. Cat form can be mechanical cat or Stealth ninja mode etc. Entangling roots could be nano trap. Moonfire beam could be aeriel droje laser.
