I have put out all fires in trisfall glades and the worst is not letting me turn it in. The yellow question mark does not even appear, it is still gray. However it seems I’ve done all the necessary requirements to turn in the quest, so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t recognize that I’ve completed the quest and let me turn it in.
Edit: apparently there is just a time limit on the quest. In that case, the big is that the quest is impossible. You can throw 18 buckets of water on one small fire and it won’t go out, and when it finally does it instantly starts back up. Please fix.
I had this problem last night. The one in Goldshire had about 20 or so people working on it and completed quickly. While in Brill, the fires would not go out on the inn, so the event timed out with only a few working relentlessly to extinguish them. We eventually managed it with two druids and a few others joined, but it is upsetting to work at it so long for it to just time out. It would be nice if the event scaled based on how many were there, but I’m guessing it would be a lot easier if not glitchy to begin with. I recall this being an issue in previous years, as well.
I just abandoned the quest. Blizzard just did a huge update and there are still quests broken from over a year ago from the shadowlands (i.e ‘the games we play’ with the imp in the basket that tells riddles). They don’t seem to care to fix any of them and I’m not wasting my time lol. But it’s very frustrating that you pay for a subscription and then waste so much time trying to compete bugged quests that they won’t fix, thinking you’re missing something only to find out the quest has been broken for 1+ years
