Let SV hunters tame exotic beasts

Blizzard as much as I LOVE BM, the appealing of a special connection between the hunter and his pet is gone from the beastmaster spec.
YOU did the change yourself, SV has that synergy now AS YOU KNOW IT.
So why keep Sv away from exotics?
SV is now the pet lovers options as much as this pains me to say, BM is just a DemoLock who plays with pets, no love involved, no care, no personnal identity, just send as many pets from your zoo to get the job done.

Sinceraly…
A really sad/mad BM fan.

I agree, this is something they should have added to the pack leader hero talent tree.

My kingdom for a devilsaur for survival.
Please make sure it stays ferocity, too.

My opinion is that BM should’ve been the spec that was made into a melee spec, not Survival. The concept of wading to the thick of battle alongside your pet companion just makes way more sense for BM than a spec that’s meant to be a “survivalist”. Surv should’ve remained a range spec focused on DOTs and traps.

I do agree and have said it many time in the past. However, I love the hell out of this new version of survival and am more than happy for it to stay. It works so smoothly.

I complety agree but the mess was already done long ago, now its just easier shape SV.

Agreed. Give two of the 3 hunter specs exotic beasts. I’m positive nobody would complain. at least 2/3rds wont. Well just under 2/3’s there will be some folks who don’t like when their ice cream is cold.

just open it up. Let all three specs train what they want to train.
Beastmaster already has a ‘thing’…having dual pets.

Then make marks also able to tame exotics.

It does, I already changed my spec in game and now I am like a todler trying to learn how to play because I really never liked to play melle, but I will get it eventually, maybe in 2 expacs I will do ok with it.
I just cant understand how they could butcher BM so much.

Actually one thing I’m still confused by with it is my bombs. The ability in the talent tree is wildfire bomb but says in the tooltip that it’s replaced by shrapnel bomb. And sure enough on my action bar it is shrapnel bomb. Only I don’t know what talent has turned it into shrapnel bomb! I did a search for “shrapnel” and got nothing. And wilfire infusion is no longer the same. It doesn’t mention transforming your bombs anymore. So what’s the deal? Is the talent tooltip just wrong, and shrapnel bomb is now the default?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome. That was always the best infusion to have. I’m just confused.

Damn…
Make it 3 expacs now.
I hate been 40+, if i had 15 I would understand all this and be raid ready in a week.

Revert survival back to range! If anything BM shoulda of been melee fighting along side your pets, while survival should have been max range DOT live lord.

I cannot imagine a worse idea than to completely redo a spec again, much less completely redo two specs of the same class simultaneously.

That’s a bug. It’s not supposed to be shrapnel bomb.

Exotics should be a talent, not an entire spec.

I would also like to see BM leave entirely and have its utility be merged into the hunter main tree, where you decide how much you will focus on using beasts. They did this with Survival and it was not well-received, especially by me, but it proves it’s possible.

And frankly you should still be able to use your exotics even without the talent, it just won’t have its exotic ability.

Oh no, for real?! That’s so disappointing!

Yea, in it’s bugged form it doesn’t interact with tip of the spear. Which is kind of the core of the new survival rework. Check the hunter forums, they found a fix for it.

Ah fair enough. Well I guess I’ll just be happy I got to have one last outing with the best infusion.

I just checked the hunter forum. Apparently if you enter the mage tower it corrects it.

And I mean, they had exactly that in Warcraft 3 with the hero unit.
