Rogues should be able to pickpocket other players, especially in pvp. Let pickpocket take a random amount of gold from effected players and possibly even yoink a piece of gear like trinkets, rings, or neck pieces.

I used to do this in Neverwinter Nights when I was a teenager. It’s literally the reason I bought this game. I thought the rogue would be able to do this, created a dwarf rogue for this sole purpose and decided I wanted to be sacrifice combat prowess and put all my points into leatherworking to be the best LW on the realm that everyone had to buy from.
Obviously this wasn’t the case in vanilla, but I was satisfied with the game nonetheless.
how about let everyone pickpocket rogues and the rogues get squat.
I vote yes if rogues get a couple silver from other players & more realistically to pickpocketing RNG: grey trash. Hope you like pebbles, sickly fish, broken spider spinnerets, a random claw, unusable plant matter, split hoof, etc.

Only if it has a chance to catastrophically fail if the person you pickpocket has any form of stealth detection active, such as Track Hidden for hunters.
And when it catastrophically fails, you lose all of your gold to the person you attempted to pickpocket.

Play a different game if you want PvP with looting. WoW is NOT it. Its honestly very forgiving PvP. You lose nothing but time and pride lol.

Everquest rogues could pickpocket the money loot from the mobs being attacked by the party which was the parties loot. Or pickpocket while some non party member is killing it.
Sometimes when I was kiting giants with my druid if I got a couple giants with just silver and copper I’d just move on.
Its one of the reasons how loot is set up in WoW.
