(Pve thread)
Not just resting zones. Anywhere, for free. Same with conduits and any power system you make in the future. Let people change them without tomes or wasting time hearthing out and making people summon them back.
The restriction is not the end of the world. But it’s stupid and serves no other point than to waste our time so it should go the way of conduit energy.
According to the game, I need to go to my favorite inn to remember how to cast barrage. I must have a poster with the instructions hung up in there.
Additionally, I want less trash mobs in raids. Thanks Reshyk

Dragonflight seems to have you covered, mostly. You’ll have loadouts that you can only set in a rested area, but can be freely swapped between anytime you’re out of combat.

Wonder how thatll work in m+
To me, this seems like a great move. I hope they will allow you to make small changes anywhere as well, like if you remember one cute spell you want only now but you’re not in a rested zone.
Will probably still be locked down inside a key, since in the current version you can’t use a tome to change talents.
Well thats a lame.
Raiders get all the perks
Currently, you can change talents in M+ by going out of the key into a rested zone and going back (or getting summoned back in by the inevitable lock).
You can actually change your spec as well by going outside the dungeon. You will be able to get back in with your new spec.

I just wish we could change covenants and conduits when we use the respec tome.
Me too AND no tome, just anywhere for free.
Well that is never going to happen.
Obviously not, they love pointless restrictions and it’s why this fun game sucks sometimes.
Mythic+ has historically taken the stance that the entire dungeon is a single encounter and they don’t want you taking an entirely separate build for the trash vs the bosses. In raids, the trash isn’t even an encounter at all and each boss is a single separate encounter. So you can’t change builds in the middle of a boss but you can between them.
Frankly I’d love it if Blizzard calmed down on raid trash because all it does at this point is waste my time.

This is another good point and I am stealing it in this thread. Thank you

At least, do something to stop death-running being the most efficient way to deal with the trash.

Only tree to disappoint me so far has been survival.
I thought the talent swaps still required a rested area or tome.
Interesting.
We’ll ll know for sure when alpha comes out, but I’m pretty sure you only need a tome or rest area to edit a loadout.
Yea well more keeping aoe builds for tyr makes bosses feel bad
Im not in combat right before the boss so let me swap!

If it were up to me, I would try to make talents the best for ST and AoE at the same time! Some specs have this joy right now. For example, Survival. Or, maybe balance combinations of talents rather than individual talents so the difference is not so significant as it is for some specs.
We’re getting this is DF.
