I can transmog it over my 2hander like on frost. Let me put blades of the fallen prince on my unholy and blood 2 hander

I wish the off-hand would be hidden when mogging the blades into a 2-handed weapon.

They should let us re-forge a lesser version of Frostmourne with them so we don’t have to use dumb looking duel-wield.

There was a time You could Transmog Artifact weapons over normal weapons. Change a 2hd into 2 Frost Artifacts and such… Sure it was a glitch, but it was possible in BFA.

The complete type override only works for the weapon that your spec is linked to. Otherwise it’s treated just as a normal transmog and follows all the normal rules.

Edit: except for the conjured magma hammer off hand of shamans, which seems to follow it’s own weird rules. A thing we should have had to be honest.

It’s not a glitch, it’s intended.

Sorry I should of been more clear (I main blood).

Currently you can still override 2hd weapons with Frost Artifacts while in Frost spec.However soon as you change to a different spec, the 2hd weapon defaults back to its normal transmog.

In BFA you could use any Artifact in any Spec, till it was patched out. (You could use a Addon that allowed all Spec Artifacts to be shown in the collections menu.)

Yep, I remember my two hander prot warrior backfisting people with shield slam and even getting the animation for two-handed slam.

Could also play sword and board arms, which was frustrating because animations worked and indicated you can indeed use mortal strike with a one hander.
