You basically deleted all my twinks from the game because “It wasn’t fair” - even though the game has always had twinks up until WoD. Then you add a feature that lets level 120s with bis everything(trinkets, potions, enchants, gems) queue into low level BGs and let them run completely rampant.
Either ban twinking from the game or don’t. Letting 120s in to do the same exact thing is ridiculous. Just now there was a lvl 120 resto shaman scaled down and he was near unkillable with PvP trinkets.
You’re right, but he still has a point. It’s extremely inconsistent to remove twinks because they were too strong and then bring fully-geared 120’s in. Clearly they have the tech to manage enormous power gaps so why implement it for one and not the other?
you value leveling fast via bgs. even accepting a loss since its “great xp”. gimping other players so your experience is easier isn’t fair to players who have put in the time/effort to gear.
“fully geaerd 120’s” lol. 274 template and traits active when syncd. a fully geared 119, a real twink, has 130k or so.bfa is based around azerite gear. if you are pvping from 110-120 with empty azerite slots that’s YOUR FAULT.
And expecting everyone to either rise to the level of people who permanently camp out a low level bracket like it’s endgame or get crushed isn’t fair to the 95% of players in pre-cap BG’s who just want an enjoyable way to level.
Just fly around borean tundra and kill the lowbies if a low risk, minimal competition experience is what you’re after. The power gap either needs to be managed or you need to remain in your own desolate brackets.
I don’t get why it wasn’t fair since the whole point of a BG is to get the best gear possible then dominate them. BGs are a natural cycle with the players of the best gear 1 shotting players without it. Then eventually they get gear and can 1 shot someone else. That what makes BGs fun. Going in there and deleting random players.
When Blizzard removed Twinks from BGs they just removed FUN from BGs.
“rising up to the level” rarely takes the form of even the minimum amout of effort when you’re using bg’s to level.
right now at 120 you’re questing and grinding out rep or whatever carrot on a stick end game has for you so you can compete in pvp. people do this while leveling. maybe even turn off their xp and gear up to the teeth before actually pvp leveling from 110-119. its your choice to play that way but its more fun to win.
I’ll quote myself from another thread on this topic:
I don’t buy the “it’s easy to compete with twinks” bit. We’re talking about people who shut their experience off and go dungeon diving for weeks to get the best possible gear for a bracket that they sit in forever. No one else is going to do that because no one else is going to be in the one bracket forever before endgame.
I’ve honestly done this too many times, lol. You’re not going to convince me that twinks should be brought back with zero templates or scaling systems and I’m not going to convince you that the difference between a normal player and a twink was too much. Blizzard’s position is pretty clear so let’s just hope that they go the party sync route with you so at the very least, you can play your characters.
Normal player, as in one who was missing gear? Because I was a normal player with heirlooms enchanted, and gear on par in the other slots and was not too far behind twinks.
So you think a PvP trinket that procs as a save and shields you for half hp isn’t OP at all in the lvl 50-60 bracket? Not to mention they baseline have around 1.5k more hp and access to any trinket/gear set up they desire. I could scale down rn and wear legion legendarys, MoP cloak, and Shadowmourne and 1 shot everyone. Also you realize sockets make you stronger right? More base int or crit, that’s how twinks work.
Lol assuming I’m in the 110 bracket you clown. I was on my lvl 60 warrior fighting bis 120s, there’s a reason they’re abusing it btw.
Please post on your main so I can have a big, hearty, laugh.
the only trinkets that work when syncd are on use boa ones. you’re confused about what you think you saw and kneejerked to the forums to complain.
maybe you dont need another 120 alt if the basic parts of this game are too hard to understand.
none of those things you mentioned work on a 120 syncd down in lower brackets. not one.
please post on your undergeared alt so i can help you through this tough time.
lets start with the 50-60 bracket… which one is that? you make locked toons but don’t understand how the bracket system works yet? yikes. that 70 would get torn a new one by a 79 friend.
if there was a shield effect you saw, why does it have to be a trinket? a 120 syncd down can still use most consumables even in lower brackets. shieldtronic shield is my bet.
i got a 69 dk bank alt with one ilevel higher than that 70 twink. maybe if blizz ever makes those weird brackets you’re imagining we can scuffle.
