Let me buy the store items! Hold on!

Oh my god, I didn’t know digital goods had an expiration date, please hold on blizzard, give me a little more time to buy the items you’re removing!

Activision-Blizzard, you go from one PR disaster to another one. At this point I don’t know whether to applaud your dumb tactics or be saddened by it.

Why is it that you people don’t seem to understand that Blizz isn’t the first game company to have limited time store items?

You act like this is some newfangled concept and it’s soooooo wrong for a marketing department to want to make money!

Marketing department is not gameplay development. You want to actually have a constructive discussion about what needs fixed in this expansion? Have at it! But leave the fail store attacks out of it.

It’s time for a cleanup. Adding more and more items while not removing any just creates clutter. Clutter impedes people making purchases.

And most of the other games have more than a handful of things in their store, along with high end gear, basic unlocks, etc. This game doesn’t. A few cosmetics to bring in money to a company is not the devil. It’s basic marketing that every successful company uses-- digital or not.

Yup! Another basic marketing strategy. :slightly_smiling_face:

What is the point of buying the expansion and paying the subscription fee for then?

So let’s say there are 5mil subs atm (pulled that number out of my butt) @$15 a month that’s 75mil… a month… at some point ya gotta call greed what it is.

But I like the idea someone offered me 500k gold for my little guardian kitty-cub pet lol. I said OHHELNOES is mah pet!

Also, this is not new. And, this means they will be adding more items in shop after that - so prepare for a new wave of indignation.

All we can do is laugh while these gaming companies continue to pull scummy business moves. EA with their games littered with micro transactions that target children. Bethesda with their first time offered shop items BUT falsely advertised as if there’s a sale on it (illegal). Now Blizzard with the fox mount quickly followed by a bundle deal, advertising that supplies are limited and that they have to retire certain items.

Scummy gon’ be scummy. /shrug

To get access to play the game. This isn’t rocket science.

The store items do not make or break the game. They’re not mandatory to be able to play. They’re cosmetics.

Your argument doesn’t make sense.

Don’t have anything else to parrot so you’re going to post it in both threads, eh?

I replied to it in the other thread. Not going to reiterate myself here.

Sure it does, because before the shop, expansions and sub fee to access all of the above, and now it isn’t.

That ship sailed in Wrath. You should have waved goodbye years ago.

As an aside, there are more things in game now than there ever were back before the shop existed. The shops existence did not, in any way, decrease what was available to you via your game purchase and subscription.

Yeah okay.

And there’s a boatload more things in game than the shop. Still are. Always will be.

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

No idea what you’re even talking about. But way to toss out the insults and get yourself reported.

There has always been a sorta cycle to the items in the Blizzard shop, and it works just fine. Clean out the dusty old stuff and bring in some fresh items.
