I currently have a bunch of corruptions sitting in the bank to apply to potential gear upgrades. And I’ll be caught up to the corruption cap this week. That means echoes have little use anymore. It would be nice to allow me to buy Wrathion’s gem sockets with it. Say 10k per socket. Right now, there’s no way in hell I can fully socket my gear before SL given the steep memento price. An additional way to buy the sockets would be great.
Or at least, let me send echoes to my alts for essences.
Can’t you buy a vessel for echoes ? Then run that vision for mementos ? You basicly have it already if you think about it . 4-5k mementos per run at 1750 echoes per vessel , gives about 10k per socket roughly ?
I’d rather not run 5+ additional visions a week. But yeah, that’s what I’ll be doing. 
Yea then the price for a socket would need to be like 20k-25k echoes? Since you basicly skip 4-5runs for it . Would be a way for people that want to grind all socket but keep mementos for the mount . So i aint against this either.
20-20k echoes is too high. That’s 10-12 vessels worth. I think 10-15k would be just right. But I’ll take 25k, as that’s better than nothing.
Let my alts without the cloak earn echoes again and we’ve got a deal. Or we would, but I quit playing BfA over that issue. There didn’t seem to be any point in playing characters who couldn’t get essences, and since those were characters I wanted to play, there was no reason to play BfA anymore.
Thats just plain lazy and out of context for this thread . I started wow again on 8.3 before they added all these lil catch up and did the grind for the characters i wanted to play … Now you have those catch up and still complain 
Ye i was just saying random numbers , 10k for vessels and 10-15k for not having to run 5x 5mask , could be whatever # tho 
Well you could use them to buy vessels with which you can farm mementos? You even get back 750 echoes, to further buy more keys.
I’ve done so many visions for sockets on two characters and the worst part about all of it is the damn game constantly changing my title to “The Faceless One” after every 5 mask and all the worthless (literally) blue pets that spam my bags that I can’t just delete… because you actually have to type delete in that stupid box.
Not at all. A decision I had forced on me. Not being able to earn echoes means that my newly leveled characters have no essences. And even if I had gotten the cloak, they’d be spending so much on essences that they’d never be able to catch up. Essences are disproportionately expenseive.
I realize this was supposed to be a “I’m gud, gimme more stuff!” thread. But I’m sure I’m not the only one who looked at their alts and realized that being set back a couple of months meant there would be no end game for them to reach.
Do you grind for grind’s sake when there is no way to reach a goal? I don’t.
Idk about you guys, but I hate running horrific visions, and I never did like them even when they first came out. I like this idea of using echoes as a currency to buy gem slots. I can actually do content I prefer to do to get my gem slots.
And that’s extremely lazy , im seeing fresh alts progress each day , ive seen some actually catch up to me when i started months before them …
Essences are not only earned by echoes , you can work on 3+ of them and earn rank2-3 within a week , the cloak takes less than 2 hrs to do . So 1 week and few hours is too much time invested to catch up ? Within a month you’ll be on this side complaining you dont know what to do with those echoes if you actually played the game !
My advice , stay on classic and classic forums 
I saw a person on the forum who claimed to have 20+ alts with at least rank 5 cloak. That’s more impressive to me than 3k io score.
Ha , yea indeed thats impressive >.< Idk how some alt-o-holic do that but some of them have 10+ at 475ilvl+ and all that stuff !
Managing alts like that is more impressive than pugging m+ to 3k

They just manage their time better than avg … thats the impressive part .
I work 50hrs a week , manage 4 toons on wow , HS account to keep up , MTG arena account to keep up, have 6-7 animes weekly and 3 tv shows to watch , 3 dogs , 3 birds , 1 cat to take care… you get my point .
Going about them having no job and playing non stop when you have 0 idea if thats the case is just low and ignorant of you . I’d imagine someone in my situation that only plays wow and doesnt have pets or other hobbies would have time to manage up to 20 different toons easy …
Not buying it. I have 1 main at 120 ilvl 479, and it’s all I can do to keep up with him with a job, and that is with playing a lot more than I should, stealing from sleep, etc.
No way someone with 10 characters with 475 ilvl is not playing nonstop. Time management…haha
Then you’re bad at managing your time properly , i have one at 475 , one at 471 , one at 468 and one at 450 , lowest cloak is 8 , 2 of them at 15 , 3rd one next week .
I work 50hrs a week , that’s not counting travel time or time spent doing other hobbies , i sleep 7hrs a night . So buy it or not , its you that dont know how to properly manage your time. And dont be ashamed , i dont manage it well either but still can keep up more than 1 toon …
Same especially since I’m playing my dh now meaning I have to regrind the sockets I did earn and more besides.
That is 4, not 10 character.
And you’re right, I am still not buying your story that you run a pet store out of wherever you live and work 50 hours a week and travel around the world and whatever else you do. Doesn’t add up.
