Let hunters choose pet specs

I’ll wait for the other shoe to drop for Microsoft to dispense with you. That might be before your hero and idol Jackal comes back. If you want to interact with him, I’d C&D from these kinds of posts.

It’s because that’s what they said on my thread about Hunter pets. They said, “how would players know if it’s a turtle specced Tenacity with shell shield and not a turtle secretly specced Cunning, with mortal wounds?”

I corrected their erroneous assumption. You can find my thread on the community council here.

I wouldn’t think the making the stables account wide would be too much of a stretch with the new stables UI. Implement that and allowing us to pick our pet’s spec and abilities at the same time.

Choice is the most powerful tool we have.

I have a ton of hunters including a goblin that uses mechanical pets, an undead that only uses spiders, an orc that only uses wolves, a Tauren that uses Kodo, and a night elf that uses cats.

I want to use the pets I care about and that fit my character. I don’t want to be locked into a mortal wounds pet for PvP, and a clefthoof for solo PvE. That’s very boring.

This current system of ferocity/cunning/tenacity and each family having a different ability is so outdated and extremely restrictive. Especially considering at one point you COULD use whatever pet you wanted!

Let hunters use the pet they want! I don’t want to hear these BS excuses about PvPers needing to know what abilities your pet has. That’s pure rubbish. You don’t know what talents someone is running until they smack you with the abilities. That’s just how PvP works. As a pvper, this is not a valid reason to restrict pet usage.
