It’s annoying when only one person at a time can farm him per shard. There should be a 1-minute window after the first crab for anyone else to add their own to the box and also get lucky loot.
I like the DF take on social fishing but it’s been in a miserable state since the early xpac nerfs, and I swear somebody dropped a few zeroes in the drop rates of tuskarr upgrade materials.

I believe this is in reference to the ultra-rare fishing drop in Outland? I believe there’s a superstition that since professions were made expansion-specific, the special wishing box that can drop him can now only be fished out of pools? Since there aren’t many relevant pools to go around, only one person at a time cam effectively be going for him?
She’s talking about the professions specific Reach rare for fishing, Sir Pinchalot. He’s by far the most farmed one because he has a 100% chance to drop a copper fishing coin, which makes him easily the best source of coins. The catch is the coin only drops if you have the lucky buff that the person summoning the reach rare gets, so only one person at a time can get a coin from each spawn. The solution I found was to just go in the middle of the night in warmode, 5-10 minute trap respawn, bring a couple stacks of crabs, hope for some silver coins to drop. I got extremely lucky and got double silvers then a single silver 5 spawns later, then fished a silver out of a treasure pool in ED.
I agree with the suggestion of giving 10-15 seconds for other people to add crabs to the trap so they can get a guaranteed coin.
That’s the one. Although uncommon, you can get a recipe in a bottle or a pack of cards instead of a coin; but usually it’s 1-2 copper coins per spawn plus anything you’re lucky enough to fish.
