Back when they first started into druidism, it was male only. But when WoW released, it was put into the lore that since times were straining and many were needed, females were allowed to become druids.

Normally I’d agree, but blizzard has a history of changing lore for the sake of PR. If enough people demand it, it’ll happen.

I agree but I’m sick of races being ABLE to be a class that’s not playable.

Like the gnome starting zone had them using guns but they couldn’t be hunters? It took them 10+ years to fix that…

Lore supported them looking like normal high elves. You learn that in the questline and from alleria windrunner herself.

The more control you have over the void the more you can suppress its effects.

Allow an “any race, any class” option for ONE character per accoutn when you have reached 15k achievement points. “any race, any class, any faction” when you have reached 30k achievement points.

Definitely not this.

Race restrictions help keep the universe diverse. And racial abilities are much better as utility items and not DPS.

See they can change the lore any way they want to have it support anything. Using the reasoning that something isn’t supported by lore is completely invalid. Who ever thought that taurens or zandalari would one day be paladins? Particularly after the massive stretch they pulled to make blood elves be paladins? Honestly the more it happens the easier it gets to imagine anyone being anything… hence this entire discussion.

There’s no reason mechagnomes shouldn’t be druids, other than Ion thought it’s too cool and they don’t want to spend any resources for alliance.

Every time someone is like “why can’t this race be that class??” and then learns about the lore reasons as an answer to their question its a win for the game and the world building in general.

Not sure how it would remove individuality…

Plus, I think it’d be sweet to play as an orc grunt, a unit that is inherently a one-of-many type of unit, but even that isn’t possible; Every race can be warrior; and where’s the individuality in that by your logic?

You choose the one class that is literally the base line for grunt? So yes it is available to everyone.
