There’s probably a reason that they don’t already have the full mog treatment. Probably has something to do with wings and two ankles on each leg.
nah, the reason is that this is a small indie company. I think this is inexcusable and a bad precedent that FFXIV set for what the playerbase is willing to swallow when they also released a race that can’t wear some transmogs (even ones created after their release).

wings are also not a problem, as capes can remain limited to the visage form.
