One does not simply “transmog” a dagger. *pinch*
I just want to transmog a wand into a bow, so I’m a priest with a bow like what the Presitess of the Moon is meant to be.
Even if it was just a nightelf unique transmog as part of their heritage set to let nightelf mages/priests wield bows I’d be happy.
No one actually attacks with a wand… and the wand + offhand balance out with a 2-hadned weapon, so as a stat stick they make no difference. Really wouldn’t be an issue to transmog wands into other ranged weapons.
I dont understand why there is an arbitrary line. It would make more sense to use daggers stab animation with a rapier than with a boxing glove. Just let people choose for themself.
Thats a cool idea
It’s virtually impossible to get a dagger that’s sized like the real life weapon, they’re huge in comparison. Larger still would look even more ridiculous.
Ima be real…just remove limits on transmog in general. Who cares if the fury warrior xmogs to dual wield daggers
They have weaker damage because their attack speed is higher. The Damage per second is the exact same as any of the other one handed weapons. All weapon damage values have been made equal by now in retail its purely a cosmetic or class fantasy thing.
I hate to necro something, but I also hate to make a fresh thread requesting once again that rogues be able to transmog daggers over other one handed weapons, and to transmog other one handed weapons over daggers as well.
Currently leveling my 100th rogue and once again I am left feeling like the transmog I want to use is busted up because of rogue weapon restrictions. So here I am, throwing my voice into the choir.
I understand the game has some seriously old coding and it isn’t as easy as flipping a switch but surely some work arounds to keep players happy can be used instead.
Like a glyph to copy your mainhand weapon to your offhand, or vice versa. Whatever code they used for Legion artifacts prove this is possible as the artifact ignores your offhand anyway.
Or or or…warlocks have a glyph for their felguard and wrathguard to use a random weapon from their inventory. Why can’t rogues have something similar applied to a glyph?
If I want to Sinister Strike something with a puny carving knife, or Backstab something with a 1 handed mace, or if I want to Mutilate something with (did somebody say…) Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, then that is my prerogative and not yours, Blizzard!
When you’re a caster so you have daggers as one of a handful of random one handers you likely will never actually use but they’ve been threatening since release.
You don’t make any sense in a fantasy game where dracthyr can run around nude friend…
