Honestly so sick of the Anduinication of every single Character in WoW like Alexstrazsa is just way too chill, calm and boring in Dragonflight and I hate it.
Like Alexstrazsa lost her Brother Dralad to Galakrond, she lost her first Prime Consort Tyranastrasz to Deathwing, she lost her second Prime Consort Korialstrasz to the Twilight Hammer and more recently lost her Sister Ysera to Xavius but in game this just does npt show in her character at all and it annoys the hell out of me.
Like lost her entire family and two husbands and only time she’s ever expressed any pain or emotion about this was in a book Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects where she depressed and bordering on madness believing Korialstrasz had betrayed the Dragonflights shattered the Wyrmrest Accord and flew off to the center of desolace to wait for Death.
She’s been through so much over the years that I think she’s supposed to portray that level of just done. Like a tired nurse or EMT worker, or teacher or something. Too experienced/tired to blow up over rage-inducing garbage.
Wrathion meanwhile is kind of her opposite, a young kid still who loses it and acts impulsively.
Alexstrasza just doesn’t do it for me. She’s a yawnfest! In all these thousands of years, that woman hasn’t managed to develop anything remotely resembling a personality? She also reeks of self-righteous judgment and disdain for anyone not serving her whims.
