Yes logic is needed and any logical person would see it is far more wise not to trust Jaina with immense responsibility simply because of her very torrid and unstable mentality and history.
Her story should be concluded to a side-character at this point.

Thrall’s abandoned the Horde and gone back on his word tons of times. Lor’themar and the rest of the Horde’s leaders stood by while Teldrassil burned. Baine, as much as I love him, gets tossed around like an abused puppy. Rokhan is still working through being a leader.
Genn’s sacrificed many for Sylvanas’s head - Anduin’s been broken by the Jailor and is scared to lift a sword because of his actions. Velen’s started to lose faith in the light and at times starts to veer into scary territory. Even GELBIN MEKKATORQUE LED THE ASSAULT ON DAZAR’ALOR. I’d say Tyrande and Malf are good but they don’t give a crap about the conflict.
Nobody is a rational, stable person in this world. Everyone has been broken, nearly caused a genocide, or been too scared to act and stood meekly by as it happened.
