I’m leveling my evoker as my fourth toon this expansion and holy crap this rocks!!! I’m going scalecommander devastation right now and this is AMAZING!!! This is what devastation always should have been. I whent an entire expansion feeling underwhelmed, and 4 hours into this and I’m hooked.
Why the heck are all of you soo sad? This rocks!!! It feels amazing to play!!!
The majority of this forum couldn’t care less about actual gameplay or performance.
Most of them want to cry about appearance, not being able to permanently not look like a dragon on the dragon class they chose to play, and sometimes how they can’t figure out how to use the kit so they need more range (this is the closest you’ll get to a conversation around gameplay).
Yeah, let’s just pretend people with legitimate grievances are somehow in the wrong. This will definitely aid the class in getting what it needs.
Enjoy your mediocre AoE damage and subpar single target DPS. Devastation’s not in a great place right now, and the upcoming tuning pass isn’t doing what’s needed to correct the issue. Augmentation will continue to reign supreme.

yes it feels great. however the single target and aoe needs buffs. besides that and tmog problems it feels amazing
They are wrong though. It’s wrong of them to complain that a dragon-class have to be a dragon instead of being upset they didn’t get a non-dragon mage-like that plays like the dragon-class.

Except they aren’t wrong. What you are claiming is “wrong” is in fact entirely subjective. Besides, the majority of people aren’t asking for that. Most of the requests have been for transmog to show on the dragon forms instead, which is entirely reasonable. It’s something that should’ve been possible from the start, but Blizzard decided to cut corners.
They are not sad, they just want to be heard.
I find them silly and counter-intuitive; limited transmog makes sense much as it will in the event that they add naga as a playable race. Literally none of the dragonkind races have ever worn anything remotely resembling player gear.

I’ve done most of my leveling in dungeons and so far I’m killing it. Number one damn near every time, often without even a close second. My slayer war and sentinel hunter feel OP in dungeons at 80 but they didn’t feel this strong leveling……

With the latest tier set sims dev gets the second largest overall DPS gain from 2 and 4pc and is only beaten by two specs in ST.
Instead of dooming on the forums you should actually try to keep up with the state of the game.
Wanting to be in visage form the entire time is not a legitimate grievance.
Welcome clutch mate! Glad you are enjoying yourself! I will simply warn you that once you fall in love with the Evoker play style, it is very difficult to play other classes. Also give Chronowarden a try. I started with Scalecommander, but I quickly found myself preferring Chronowarden.
However, I also prefer Augmentation to Devastation. 
Idk if I would classify perma visage as a “legitimate grievance”
But tmog and more barber shop options are a minor one but I would say legitimate
They’re nerfing our tier set on Tuesday.
Yeah I mean it sort of needed to happen, we got 12% increase from 4 PC lol. It’s like 3x better than most tier gains.
It’s also only a 0.8% overall DPS loss if you make the right talent changes and then swap from EoI to EH at 4pc
The gameplay of evoker is great, it’s dynamic i love it. Healer spec is the one i had most fun with it of all healing spec in game. Even in pvp loved it.
Devast scalecommander is the most satisfying dps spec of evojer, and chronowarden is just awesome for healer.
I just wished i could see my transmogs and either get rid of visage and allow regen outside of combat without it.
Or have different visage race. Thats all i want 
I mean, you sort of answered your own question. If the class didn’t feel good, then no one would care about tmog, damage, visage, lack of race options, whatever. The thing is, people want to play evoker class because of how much they enjoy the playstyle, which makes their grievance over the above feel worse.
Sorry that people are whinging and bringing down the vibes in this thread. I’m glad you’re having so much fun! I love the class too, and the Dracthyr, I dunno why I honestly come here sometimes but it’s been good fun for me to play it all last expansion long even despite some of my grievances. I actually only returned to the game because of the evokers/dracthyr. Go Evokers!
