“Loot 3 Black empire Caches in Uldum”
What a stupid Quest. As with almost all of those Daily Quests from 8.3 … you see those Caches everywhere … when the Daily Quest is not up. On days where it is up either because of way too little spawning Locations or way too long respawn timers … you can fly around for hours just to even find 1.

The reason you see the caches everywhere when the quest isn’t up, is because there’s no demand to loot them. They’re despawning during quest days because that’s what chests do when they’re looted, and they’re being looted like mad by 100,000,000 players trying to complete their daily and get out of the zone.
Competition. That’s all it is. They should shorten the respawn, or make the chests last longer after being initially looted, but at least your complaint has a logical and inevitable explanation.
Really agree. I wrote the exact same concern in another thread.
This is basically just another “kill 3 rares” in Vale. Rares have a somewhat shorter respawn now so I guess thats fixed (?).
But now this…
Flying around majority of the time to find a “daily quest objective” (in this case a cache) is NOT fun. I was making multiple laps around the quest area and was having a hard time to find even a single cache.
It really feels like Blizzard is just trying to extend the longevity of this patch because they canceled 8.3.5 or something. This really is a frustrating patch to play.
I know the reason as to why they up when the Daily is not to Loot them. That should be obvious.
But i not want to argue about this.
You know, i remember long long time ago, they implemented a system(and they where super proud of that) that would deal with the issue that there are not enough Mobs in a Zone for Players to kill.
That system would, depending on player count in the zone and dead mobs speed up the respawn of said mobs.
It seems they kicked that system out, in Legion in favor of that World Quest system, which had fast respawn rates for the Rare Mobs they sometimes make you kill.
And now they switch back to Daily Quests, away from World Quests … and the old problems come up again, like if the enemy Faction Tags a Mob it greys out, like Chests and other Lootables not respawning fast enough.

This has to be the most stupid quest I’ve come across in my 14 years of playing this game and that’s saying something. I’ve been flying around for 45mins looking for my 3rd cache, half the time I have a debuff from the worms so I can’t fly at my top speed to look for these caches to I have to kill my self to get it off to continue flying around for almost an hour to the point of giving up. The fact that they disappear after a few seconds of being looted so your party nor the other faction can loot blows my mind, how about not releasing quests when they are still in beta? Because flying around for 45mins - 1hour for 1 quest well being slowed by “Great Worm From Beyond” all this is not necessary for a little bit of rep at the end of the day I am not about pulling my hair out for an entire hour…

If the caches weren’t slow to spawn Blizzard wouldn’t be able to boast about their player engagement. Sad company.

I usually fly around in the far far north … there are no Dailies and usually i am lucky with there for caches.
But it indeed is stupid. So far, every chest or Ore or Herb takes some moments to despawn once looted, and it lets other players also loot. Not with those Caches for some reason.
But i bet its the same a with Flying, they are not playing the game themself and are super stubborn about “knowing what players want” … just like Classic Realms …

As i said, the Caches do not let more then one person loot them and they have a super slow Respawn … but maybe the Respawn is not slow its just because of the one person loot rule so many people fly trying to loot them.
This, and the “kill X rares” quests, are killing my desire to play.
These are making the game feel like a flying simulator.
This quest is just stupid and time wasting, and also mechagon rares killing and cache looting quest. I think i will just ignore those. Who ever designed these quest is just LAZY, no better words to describe it.
