Most of them were. They lasted so long you had to remember they were there in case a patrol came and your group ran ahead for more pulls.
This would be nice but there’s hardly any glyphs and the talent trees are completely minimal.
It would be nice to pick elementals over wolves etc but probably won’t happen.
Heck as Elemental they stick you with the same boring rotation as Wrath by forcing lavaburst on you and not letting you just be a lightning shaman or a fire shaman.
It depends on what you play for glyphs.
Mages have a jillion glyphs for what they want their water Elemental to look like, and even monks can change the color of their lightning.
Some more animal glyphs for ghost/spirit wolf woild at least go a long way.
We did… we only lost our fire elemental recently… give it back blizzard!.. we lost a lot of our abilities with the level squish in fact… I now feel like a crippled Elemental Shaman with a (singular, one) melee attack…
So wait, which Elemental did Enhance have? I know they only had one in BfA and none in Legion.
Did they switch which Elemental they had?
They originally had fire and earth, and during WoD, could spec into Storm and improved elementals with PE.
I get the feeling that they view elementals the same way now that they viewed totems in WoD… the whole “Totems are an Enhancemet shaman thing, so we removed them all from Elemental and Restoration” fiasco… they need to stop trying to prune the identity from Shaman already… give us back all of our totems on all specs and let us use all of our elementals on all specs… they “depruned” the wrong abilities for shaman… and I still want to know why they felt the need to remove nearly all of Enhancement’s melee abilities…
Okay, yeah like ELE.
The goblin mentioned the level squish and I was left confused on why they switched the Elements there
Wait, in WoD ENH had P.E. and Storm already?
The Legion gutting was worse than I thought.
Which is funny because Resto and Ele have more totems than ENH does iirc. And they even did during Legion.
But in WoD they had only earthbind and tremor totem. Enhancement had the rest… and now… enhancement has the least…
they also had a glyph that made lightning shield reduce damage taken by 10%
honestly just fully revert enh to mop or wod’s state
and make ascendance shoot lightning again
Nowadays with a lack of glyphs they should just build that right in. Again, it’s weird that “Shields” do everything but
brb starting a petition to rename lightning shield to lightning spike
Don’t forget honestly Earth’s Blessing makes more sense than Earth shield too, since all it does is buff healing done.
people like you that call others “trolls” for no valid reasons are the only real trolls , get flagged you trolling moron
According to who? Wielding the elements, yes. Summoning elementals, I don’t think so. Resto shaman don’t summon elementals either.
The shaman class was originally a combination of the shaman, far seer, tauren cheiftan, shadow hunter, and witch doctor units from warcraft 3.
So yes, there are a lot of wolf themes. Because a huge portion of the shaman class was originally Orc.
Personally, this is just one more reason why blizzard needs to add cosmetic glyphs to the game in much larger quantity.
Hey I like my Infernal being a core part of my rotation. It’s one of the coolest abilities in the game.
A glyph to replace the wolves with ghostly ancestral spirits might be fun. Just random ghosts of the casting shaman’s race.
There’s actually a really creepy and seldom used draenei ghost model. I don’t think it appears anywhere but TBC Auchendoun.
That would be neat
Because Orc is the original shaman class like how humans are for Paladins . The others are just pretenders .
So I’m probably in the minority that enjoys new Enhancement (it is strangely fun once you sort of accept it’s not a pure melee dps)
Bit it has the consistency of wet one-ply. It could really use damage mitigation. I support Primal Elementalist just because of that Earth Skin ability that Elemental has when it summons Primal Earth Elemental.
Also, Lightning Shield and Earth Shield both needs to reduce damage for having them active. It’s silly that Mage bubbles do so but not shaman
