I’d love to see 3 new transmog options available:
-
Hide sleeve on a piece of chest armor.
-
Hide chest portion of robes, so only kilt shows.
-
Turn all legguards into loincloths.
I love seeing the Tauren Heritage armor, Highborne NPCs, the Froswolf cosmetic set, etc. Why? Many warcraft races culturally do not cover up their entire body in armor; yet, most of our characters look like robots, with silhouettes being the only way to know what race/gender someone is.
Vol’jin looks awesome because he wears little armor; the Nightborne NPCs look awesome because they wear little armor, etc.
I LOVE the move that blizzard is making into NOT having us cover up every inch of our characters. Trolls, for example, should look like Vol’jin and Rastakhan; Orcs, too, and Night Elves, etc.
So, by allowing us to 1) hide the sleeves on a piece of armor, we get to see our character’s arms, and the skin color we chose and race is even more evident.
By allowing us to hide the chest portion of robes, we get a huge amount of new kilts to wear, for that Gul’dan look on casters that currently is unvailable.
By allowing us to hide the leggings, and keep only a loincloth of the color scheme of that armor, we’re able to show off our legs and use big, bulky, draping belts to make more of a ‘savage warrior’ look, and also allows cloth wearers to finally wear those Anh’Qiraj sets perfectly, too.
