I don’t think people need to put these on their bars. You’re going to use the portal out of combat about once every 25 minutes or so at best. It’s okay to take 6 seconds to open the spell book and locate the portal you want to use.
If you want to put them on your bar, go for it, but imo they are pretty low on the priority list.
It’s not about the buttons, it’s about the active in combat buttons and how many of them require constant pressing.
I’m fine with extra flavor buttons for out of combat fun, you can give me 20 of those.
It’s the in combat buttons they need to closely manage.

Make a macro that just tries to use every skill/spell at once. That way you only need one button.

We don’t. You need to play with more passives since you can’t deal with the already few amount of abilities that we have. Either that or go play a MOBA.

Yeah, I know what a macro is. 90% of my abilities are macroed even if its just to add /start attack so that they autotarget and increase my dps by a fraction of a percent.

I do not personally macro racials, trinkets main dps cooldows together on the same button, because I am a better player then that. If you happen to play one of the extremely rare combinations where all of those cooldowns line up on recast, thats great, however, the vast majority will play spec combos that do not and it would be an extreme dps loss.

Depending on CD duration it’s better to hold certain CDs. I also never said I macro everything.
Spindle and suncaller both have their own binds. But I macro mirror because it’s better with infernal and I won’t ever use it outside infernal.
Same with arcane surge and the three minute trinket last season.

Great suggestion. I very often use passives.
Like with BM hunter the passive set up for the extra beasts is sooo cool. without pressing a single extra key I can have 2 or even 3 of dire beasts up during a fight.
Just go with a lot of passives. might not be top tier damage, I dont know, but its less keys usually and a LOT more fun
