Tired of making/joining a raid group and have to spend more time looking for people that do bosses for a specific item they’re farming, then leave and give the rest of the group downtime to look when a healer/tank leaves.
Raiding is the best part of the game so please cherish it rather than making literal dozen boss fights lasting longer than to look for random people.
More bosses feel like a chore, longer boss fights without enrage timers please.
Enrage timers make you want to play with higher geared players rather than having fun with them.
What was wrong with vanilla WoW with enrage timers being when healers ran out of mana from the fight being so long like the four horseman world first kill?
Please make raiding great again.
the hero factory of WOLK+ produced infinite mana classes so enrage is needed now.
short fights like Vael are fun too…30-minute Heigan kills every bossfight would get boring.

It’s not fun waiting when people leave after killing certain bosses for gear they drop.
Less bosses, more loot on said bosses that drop solve the problem by not making people leave after they do a boss fight for the gear they want and overall makes everyone play the game instead of waiting for players to fill while thinking about unsubscribing for the game
It’s not fun waiting for people that I need to play the game with because they’re done with raiding for not getting or getting their BIS
That is the inherent risk of puging, especially this late into an expac/tier. Given blizz are lowering loot drops this issue will only get worse for you.

lol they’re subscription only seen a spike when Classic came out. You’re just saying “accept it because everyone else does in this game even though everyone left because the game isn’t fun anymore” . I’m just saying. Less bosses make a raid more fun. Raiding is the main fun of WoW

No the subscription numbers going down says it too.
Raiding is the literal reason why WoW is so popular and you saying raiding doesn’t matter and you denying subs going down says to me you talk with a lot of delusional people.
There’s at literally 3 games that do raiding as good as WoW and you saying the reason why one of the most popular game is dying because of people wanting to get rid of it???

The first part is your opinion. The second part makes no sense, you want it to take longer to find your group than to kill bosses?

Only if your bad. Enrage timers make it so you actually have to have some skill and ability to kill the boss besides “don’t die.” You’re essentially asking for a giant nerf.

The only raiding I do is pickup raiding, and I agree with this. It is what it is. The people who sign up for early bosses would rarely be assets on later bosses, anyway.
I think this is questionable. By shifting more of the loot reward to the vault, the incentive to stick around on a successful team for 3 or 7 bosses will increase.
Don’t pug and join a guild if you want everyone to stay.

I’ve been seeing this as well. Pug groups that just dip as soon as you kill the one boss they need. I mean come on the group says it’s killing 2-3 bosses in the dungeon and you can’t stay for another 30 minutes to 1 shot them?
Pug culture is a selfish culture. Always has been. There’s no reason to invest in strangers you’ll never see again.

This is definitely a thing only casual players would ask, you’ve only done normal and a few heroic bosses so I don’t blame you for not understanding how terrible of an idea this is.
Mythic bosses are already long, they can be almost 10 min fights or longer early into the tier, asking for them to make the fights even longer will massively impact Mythic raiding in a negative way.
Enrage timers are there to prevent degenerate gameplay like stacking extra healers and tanks to cheese mechanics. Timers mostly prevent this and provide gear checks for bosses as well.
Less bosses also means loot will be condensed into fewer bosses, it would be significantly harder to get the item you want because a boss would drop 6-10+ items instead of the usual 2-4.
Your biggest complaint and the reason you even made this thread is because of people leaving your raid group, this is just a risk of puging and will never change. You say raiding is your favorite part of this game so why don’t you join a raiding Guild where this problem doesn’t exist?

There are two main ways to make a longer boss fight:

Have more different “phases”. Nobody wants to progress on this style of fight. 300 pulls in and you’re finally up to phase 7, now you get to spend another 50 pulls learning that phase, and it takes 20 minutes just to get there on every pull. No thank you!

Give the boss a ton of health and have the same phases repeat over and over. This puts people to sleep and nobody enjoys it.
