I know this is old stuff but I thought I go back and try to get my pathfinding since I have some hours in my life to put into wow. Unfortunately, there are some gamebreakers that will not allow me to proceed. There are quests I’ve received at the Broken Shore that never completes.

Champions of Legionfall
I can’t seem to finish this Defending Broken Isles quest. I thought I had to stop 4 legion attacks in the Broken Isles but that wasn’t the case. I’ve tried wowhead and youtube and nothing seems to make sense with this scenario. I don’t know how to get a champion of legionfall no matter what I do, that Tess chick cannot be taken as a follower.
I’m stumped here with 150 rep quests that take forever to complete. Then I have the thing in the sky the sentinax and that doesn’t seem to do anything. I destroy portals and loot but I never get that stuff you’re supposed to get. This whole rep thing for Legionfall has become very frustrating and complicated it’s emotionally and mentally effecting me.
The assault you need to complete for “Defending the Broken Isles” is one of the invasions that can pop up in any of the four Legion leveling zones. (Aszuna, Val’Sharah, Highmountain, and Stormheim.) When one pops up, it lasts for 6 hours. (There are 18.5 hours from the end of one invasion to the start of the next.)
While it’s up, there will be 6 special world quests. When you go into the zone you’ll get a pop-up quest to complete any 4 of those quests. (If you don’t get the pop-up quest, turn off your addons and relog. Some addons have been known to interfere with it.) After you turn in the quest for 4 of the invasion world quests, you’ll get a short series of quests that will lead to a scenario. Complete the scenario, turn in the quest for it, and you should have credit for “Defending the Broken Isles.”
You can google “Legion Invasion Timer” to find a few sites that track when you can expect invasions to be up. Their timing is predictible, but the zone it shows up in is Random.
Edit: At the time of this post, there’s an invasion up in Azsuna. It will be up for about 3 more hours.
Thank you! I’ve done those quests when it popped up. I only got rep credit but my invasion quest did not finish. It seems like a very very slow process. I’ve calculated the rep I earn each day and it will take me a very long time before I can get revered. Not sure why the quests are not completing. As for the ToS raid, I can’t find anyone to help me. Very difficult to solo.
When it comes to rep, make sure you’re watching for the Emissary quests. Obviously, the one for Armies of Legionfall will give you a nice chunk of rep, but the Kirin Tor one lets you pick a rep token of your choice. So, make sure you’re doing that one whenever it pops up as well.
Finishing up the main quest chain is a decent chunk of rep as well. I’m not sure what is happening with the “Defender of the Broken Isles” quest.
Here’s a guide on the assaults. Make sure that when you’ve done one of them that you’ve followed the quests all the way to the end.
For “Champions of Legionfall” you need to have done all of the original part of the Order Hall Campaign for your class. If you’ve done that, some of the class hall quests to recruit the champion can be a bit hard to find.
I’ve finished all the class hall quests. Still shows Princess Tess Greymane unavailable. I have every follower for legion. I go into the class hall but they don’t have anymore quests for me.
I don’t have class order hall missions or artifact missions anymore.

I did the world quest today 5 of them to be exact and got nothing in return but rep. Defening the Broken Isles still says 0/1 Legion Assault complete. I still have recruit a legionfall champion 0/1. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’m following directions but nothing is happening. I honestly can’t sit here all day and night waiting for quests in the world. It’s gonna take me over another month to finish the rep.
For the class hall stuff, make sure you have “trivial quests” turned on in tracking on the minimap. It’s been a while since I’ve done the rogue order hall stuff, but I don’t remember anything particularly tricky about finding the quests.
Also, check your quest log. It’s possible that you have done part of the chain to pick up the final follower. You do some stuff with the pirates in Azsuna before going to the Broken Shore.
I feel like there may be a breakdown in communication. The world quests on the Broken Shore have nothing to do with the Legion Invasions for “Defending the Broken Isles.” It sounds like you’re still talking about normal world quests. Invasions are different. An entire zone will be taken over by the legion, and all of it’s normal world quests will be replaced with special invasion ones. They never happen on the Broken Shore itself. At the end, you have to queue up for a scenario with 2 other players to complete the invasion and get credit for the quest.
If I’m misunderstanding you and you have done an invasion, which zone was it for? Did you get credit for completing the scenario (sometimes there have been bugs here) and were able to turn in the quest for completing the scenario?

Appreciate the help Smoo someone ran me through. I began my BFA rep grind and let me tell you. They have raised the bar pretty darn high. It will take months before I can be revered with Champions and Tortollans. I just don’t understand why there’s no chain quests to help get out of friendly. After 2 weeks I’m still in friendly and contracts really don’t help much. I really wanted my alts to level up with flying but that doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. I feel like I burnt myself out and it’s getting quite boring now.
You shouldn’t still be friendly with Tortolan and Champions after 2 weeks. (You should be a good chunk of the way to revered.)
With Champions of Azeroth, there are 6 world quests that will spawn each day (3 on each continent) for 125 rep each. You’ll also average one emissary each week for them for another 1500 rep. That’s 6750 rep per week on average, which means just over 3 weeks to revered.
For Tortolan seekers, you get 5 world quests per day at 175 rep each. Again, you’ll get one emissary per week on average for them. That’s 7625 rep per week on average. That’s less than 3 weeks if you never touch one of the regular Tortollan quests. They also have quite a few regular quests scattered throughout the zones.
