Legion zones loading super slow for anyone else?

Title. Hopefully not just me. Any fixes if it is prevalent?

I did notice it when using my death gate to get to the Legion Acherus, thought it was just a fluke but it happened twice within 20min.

Normally my loading takes around 5-10 seconds, but it was nearly 30 seconds when loading into the Legion area.

Exactly… EVERY legion zone takes 30-45 second s load and it normally takes me less around 5 seconds.

Nighthold is the worst, but yeah all over Legion I’m getting bad zone in lag.

Legion Dalaran has always taken significantly longer to load for me than any other zone. At least the first time going there in a given session.

I had some issues last week with Nighthold (ran three difficulties), but no other noticeably long loading screens. I do use Death Gate and Legion Dalaran heart pretty frequently for travel. I guess I’ll see if Nighthold is still bad this week, or not.

Once legion ended, Dalaran became just as fast to load as any other zone to me.

Seems only recently that loading in Legion zones became longer again.

I was playing an alt DK through some Legion quests last night. Took the portal from Org. to Azsuna and the load screen was very long. The bar got to about 75% full and just stopped… To the point where I alt-f4’d the game.

Entered back in on the DK, and still got stuck at the same spot. This time, I just waited it out, and it eventually loaded.

But yes. Very odd.

Tomb of sargeras took forever to load

Nah, not for me. It’s stayed about the same. But like I said, it only happens the first time loading the zone after launching the game, so it’s never really been that big a deal.

Since the patch the loading times have been through the roof on legion. But it’s mostly addon related for me.

Do you all use addons?

I didnt think of that… which could it be? Guess I need to disable one a time to figure it out. thx for the idea.

I don’t remember which one it was for me… But it was one I wasn’t willing to turn off XD

The one that always pauses when io load any zone is Allthethings… so will try that first

Are you using an SSD? Legion loading times, especially Dalaran, were always pretty bad until I got an SSD.
