Legion was not a good expansion

I don’t know where this sentiment is coming from but legion was really trash.

  1. It introduced world quests.
  2. The first year you were stuck with 1 spec due to azurite unless u wanted to be weak af playing a spec you didn’t use TIMEGATED azurite for.
  3. The zones were small.
  4. The patches with argus and that other island were more garbage boring world quests.
  5. Class design was not good just like bfa.
  6. literally timegating everything to contain continued subs.

People delusional into thinking it was a good expansion because it came after WoD.

Started bad. Ended good. Been true for a number of expansions. Legion ended in a very good spot. It was a nightmare for many of us at the start though.

Legion had better world quests than BFA even though I hate WQ I at least enjoyed Legions.

Best solo/alt content with the Mage Tower.

Best objective-based casual pvp with Towers and FFA events.

Artifacts and Legendaries were fun as heck unless you were a min/maxing raider, and they’re always annoying.

The class halls were awesome, the class mounts were awesome.

You’re wrong, Legion was amazing.

Legion was better than WoD. It’s all relative. People have short memories anyway if Classic is any indication.

I liked world quests. I think they could expand on them and make them a more difficult with better rewards.

I thought azerite was introduced in bfa though. Class halls and mage tower were good too. I enjoyed the legendary weapons

Legion was good. I had fun. It was interesting. World Quests were great. The dungeons were great.

World Quests were introduced in WoD, they were the bonus objective areas that gave you gold and experience you did while leveling in a smaller test form.

Level scaling was introduced in MoP, your farm trash spawns leveled with you.

difficulty besides mythic raids will never happen in wow. Blizzard sees the player base as having 0 brain functionality. Makes me respect GGG more.

Have you attempted a high end key during Legion… i would say it had the same difficulty of a Mythic raid. Lets be real Seat of Triaunaldksmalfkaf (what ever the name of the Argus dungeon was) was extremely difficult on a key version.

All and all i respect your opinion but again Legion is a Top 3 Expac.

your opinion is false. Nothing in WoW is difficult except mythic raiding and that was always just getting 20 non buffons. If you want difficulty try playing a competitive game.

The only thing difficult about Mythic raiding, is sticking around long enough for the rest of the raid to figure out they need to avoid all avoidable damage. So the healers can heal them through the unavoidable damage.

I’m a Hunter main.

Legion was not kind to Hunters.

The only expansion where I did NOT have fun. And I’ve played through every expansion.

Sadly thats more than I can say about BfA. Legion had its problems but its surrounded by an unfinished expansion and BfA, thus making Legion sparkle just a bit more by contrast.

sorry I mixed up the same 2 systems used in a row in 2 expansions just one using a weapon and other using a neck.
