Legion TW bugs: Cannot spawn in and server is unresponsive - all because of looting

This is known by now since it is in the evening for me, but TW is currently bugged where you may get a chance NOT to spawn in when joining a group. Apparently, the cause is looting. I don’t know if this applies to looting any mob or bosses specifically, but I do know it is related to looting.

However, another bug that I have discovered related to looting is literally the server not registering to you and your actions.
Let me explain, remember when you suffer lag spikes or your internet DCs when playing, and you find yourself pressing your hotkeys only to have your spells/abilities be highlighted on your actionbars but nothing happened?
Literally that happens but you also cannot die. Not joking. Was doing Vault of the Wardens, accidentally looted a boss, and I couldn’t use any of my spells. Figured that dying would help so I jump of the edge before the ice boss. Fell to the bottom of the abyss. Literally. Fell to the bottom and didn’t die from fall damage. Thought closing the client would help but was locked out of my own character as she is locked in in the dungeons.

Does anyone have this same exact issue?

It just happened to my DK. There are threads in the bug report forum. I recommend you post your problem there too so that they can get a better gauge of the impact.

Apparently it’s affecting currency transfer as well, so I suggest not sending anything to alts until it’s resolved.

Oh snap! Has Blizzard said anything about it yet?

Looks like characters are unstuck now. Haven’t tried anything to determine if it’s resolved entirely.

rogue is on dungeon CD from TW and all my buttons stopped working on hunter. tried to log hunter back in and i get an error: “a character with this name already exists” and it fails to load. lol

This also happened while I was doing an LFR. Soft-locked my main alt, and went over to an alt to try an log out my main which has been sent to the void of “already exists”. Found that logging on to an alt does not work, and so, decided to do a TW dungeon and locked that character too. I read that someone got locked in a devle.

It’s happening everywhere.
