Legion timewalking vendor gear is 164ilvl, no way this is intended right?
I think it is intended so. I think it’s just supposed to be so you can get the mog. The other timewalking vendors sell low ilvl stuff too, right?
Maybe I’m wrong but just never heard of someone use timewalking vendors to gear
It’s a bit random and typically depends when in the cycle the TW week takes place. I certainly remember having newly capped alts grab a few pieces from the TW vendor to catch up some ilvl in a .2 or .3 patch. But maybe not in a .0 one when the entry level for endgame content isn’t much above leveling gear.
However 164 seems way too low, it’s below level 60 gear. I think they just forgot to up it from last time Legion was the rotation bc there is too much stuff going on atm.
They have been making changes to ilvl in Legion content lately. Last week for the first time I noticed appropriate ilvl gear as a reward for a dungeon world quest. Other world quest gear is still 50. And while a level 60 character yesterday got a legendary that was ilvl 59, today a level 50 character got one that was ilvl 163. I looked at the character that got theirs yesterday and it is now also ilvl 163.
Dauntless and Relinquished gear are also still ilvl 50.
Gear in some of these older expansions is a work in progress.
Think it must be a mistake. WoD vendor sold 346 gear.
For level 60 players 164 seems consistent with how miserly the program usually is, normal dungeon gear for a 59 currently at 190. If level 70 players get offered that ilvl of gear, that sounds bugged.
