Legion Timewalking vendor is the laziest out of the new TW vendors

They added appearances for a Nightborne themed staff and sword for 1200 badges… except they already have those items on the vendor being sold for 100 badges. As far as I’m aware this is just an obvious oversight and they should remove the pricier versions of it.

Most of these new weapon appearances are models from WoD, one (the scythe looking polearm) is a re-skin from shadowlands content, and theres a recolor of a shield from siege of orgrimmar, a MoP raid (Re-color feels wrong, it’s a slightly darker shade of purple??)… I count two unused legion weapon appearances in the added assortment of appearances.

All the other TW vendors have appearances from their respective expansions, why isn’t this the same for Legion? Looks like they just had leftover appearances they were trying to get rid of and threw them on the legion TW vendor just to fill the void.

They have appearances they could add that make sense, like the alternate colors for the heritage armors sets for the Nightborne and Lightforged Draenei that have been in the files for years, emerald nightmare themed dragon mounts, the armor sets you see from bosses like in the Tomb of Sargeras raid like Kil’jaeden and Kasparian, or even something like Odyns spear, the spears Velens honor guard has in the argus intro, or other weapons that aren’t obtainable.

Imo Legion was one of the best expansions since Wotlk and MoP and it’s a bummer to see it get neglected like this. I’m sure some of these appearances are appreciated, and the armor sets from legion that are included are great, but throw the WOD appearances onto the WOD vendor and give us actual legion re-colors. And double check that the appearances being added aren’t already on the vendor.

I understand they’re probably saving it for Legion Remix, but they didn’t have to do the legion tw vendor dirty like this.

We got 4 sets of recolored armor and a recolored mount

All the cosmetic weapons just drop in legion dungeons lol

I agree. I ran up to where he was and was like, “where’d he go?!” My eyes danced around with confusion and then I look down and he’s sitting on a pillow. like, so now I need to bend over to interact with you? Have you seen the shoulders and head pieces in this game? lazy aint all…

the new polearm is supposed to match the unchained gladiator’s gear from shadowlands but the plate and leather is too dark so the only thing that really matches is the mail set and to use a polearm you need to be survival…

The “new” polearm, Howling Echoes, actually used to drop from M+ Black Rook Hold, but now only drops from Mythic BRH (at a 0.08% drop rate), so it makes sense to add it to the Legion timewalking vendor.

I remember reading that the Vendor in the PTR sold a Nightborne Arcblade similar to what the Spellbreakers carry around that pairs with the similar Nightborne Tower Shield also sold by the Vendor. Why couldn’t they have added in that as an Ensemble as both a One-Handed/Two-Handed Sword variants for Paladins and Warriors wanting to try RPing as Spellbreakers, and a Warglaive for Demon Hunters?

They could have gotten creative and made lightforged armor and weapons we didn’t need a third recolor of nightborne weapons.

The mount was disappointing too, could have been something better.

The plate armor is gross looking.
