Unlike expansions of the past where WoD had a dreadful content drought, we experienced our first rendition of “Remix” in the format of MoP back in Dragonflight. It was fun for its first version and really helped pass the time out of that would-be-boring content drought if we didn’t have Remix.
Though I won’t get into spoilers regarding what rewards we get, I’m rather excited and will be playing to the maximum benefit. Especially doing those absurdly high keys and getting all the mounts. Plus, it’ll be a nice lore refresher going through all the quests again… while hitting that emotional roller coaster along the way. If you know, you know.
I understand the can of worms I might be opening here, but I am curious about what people think in the terms of gameplay, rewards and passing time.

PTR is not the final product, people are too quick to judge.

If it stays the way it is on the ptr, its an easy pass.

I guarantee it will be better on release or a week afrer release from the backlash. I will def play it.

I loved MOP Remix like crazy, so while I’m wary hearing some of the feedback I’ll still try it and see what it has to offer.
If nothing else though, I’ll play it regardless to get the transmogs I want. Whether I stick with it just depends on if it’s a more fun way to level alts until Midnight drops.

Finally a little optimism it’s always in short supply in these forums.

Yes, of course. I want the Llothien Prowler.
I will get all the mounts and maybe a few transmog. Once housing releases, I will drop it like a moldy orange and kick it under your bed.

They are going to nerf it to squeeze more time metrics so it won’t be as fun as mop. Will probably try it out though
Based on its current state…I’m leaning toward no. If they listen to actual feedback and turn it into the fun time that MoP Remix was then I will start leaning in the other direction.

And yet many things are not changed when the patch goes live and it isn’t until a few weeks later do things change based on the same feedback Blizz got from the PTR

It’s so weirdly balanced. At level 26, I was barely doing 1k DPS against mobs with 40k HP, and for some reason a quest gave me an ilvl 580 necklace, bumping my HP to well over 100k. The mobs and I were just slap fighting until one of us passed out.

Would it kill you to have a little optimism?

Don’t threaten me with a good time.
I’m not sure. I’ve been hearing from others that they’ve stripped away a lot of the fun that people had with the MoP Remix.
I want some of the mogs, but I don’t see myself taking time away from retail if it’s just going to be a slog.

100% playing it.
Why? I much rather get the mounts/pets/toys by farming vs RNG
I ignore that stuff in retail mostly cause I hate farming anything and I hate RNG
But I got every single vendor item in MoP remix. Toys/transmogs/mounts - anything I could

If it’s as bad as people are saying it is, probably very little.
I’m already soured on it after their earlier blatant hypocrisy.

Oh? What’s it like on the ptr? Is it not like mop remix was?

I’ll check it out like I check out everything. I even checked out Plunderstorm for a bit before deciding it didn’t appeal to me much.
