I get what they mean. That cloak isn’t available in retail anymore. Are you suggesting alternatively that they’ll enhance the AP acquisition and crucible upgrades? That seems a given. Otherwise, the legendaries would be the next logical step since acquiring them in Legion was a total joke until 7.2, then a partial joke until 7.3.

There are no weapons in Legion except the artifacts. I’m pretty sure our new “cloak” will be one of the recolored artifacts and that’s what we’ll be putting threads into this time.
Probably a bag of weapons for every spec and the threads apply to all of them. Just like AP did eventually for Legion weapons.

MoP was the Legendary Cloak expansion, and ReMoP gave us the magic mutant cloak that changes into every cloak of the expansion as it levels up.
Legion was the Artifact Weapon expansion, so it seems logical to me that Lemix will give us a mutant weapon that changes into every weapon of the expansion as it levels up.
So I imagine the whole thing with the weapons won’t repeat itself.

This is wildly incorrect. There are several that are not artifacts; some as raid drops, some from assaults, arsenals etc. They were predominantly cosmetic rather than functional for then-current content.

That never really happened to the Legion weapons, that was the BFA necklace.

The Artifact Knowledge in 7.3 became automatic gains and thereby worked across all spec weapons.
Maybe I’m not explaining it correctly. I dunno.
At any rate, I would think they could just make the artifact weapons all hold the same amount of thread power. Or one weapon that swaps appearances depending on spec and you learn all of the cosmetic appearances for your collections.

In before the fact that legion had barely any weapon skins outside artifacts and some stuff later with invasions and such comes to light. The titan weapons would be nice to see buyable with the remix tokens, the legion outfit from argus as well but I want the mage tower stuff they yanked end of Legion to be purchasable too. We’ve had bragging rights on them for years now and if not the original colors then recolors of them as I’d love more skin colors for the werebear skin for druids. I mean hey if I can just buy the black skin I’d have to do PvP for as an item in remix that unlocks it for my account that would be lovely…I also missed out on the neon cat forms and would love to have those if possible

That was the increase to the amount of AP per token, which was always character wide.
AP earned remained per-weapon until they overcharged it, at which point AP tokens no longer mattered, and became vendor trash.
The change you were referring to was the BFA necklace.

The necklace was just a necklace. Specs didn’t matter.
And I paid zero attention to that thing, so I know nothing about it.

Going to be hard to have weapons in arsenals when Legion had next to no Weapons outside of the Artifacts, But we should see new colors for the artifact weapons. Minus the Mage Tower appearances, since we didn’t get the challange mode sets from MoP:Remix doubt will see the Mage Tower skins.
It is not been the case since the end of Dragonflight. Hope if they add a Class Hall and Artifact Weapons for Evokers that it’s added to Live as well, so existing evokers can get them as well.

After a few weeks of gearing. I only spent maybe an hour or 2 here and there speed running mythic SoO and heroic ToT for bronze.
I really don’t know what you mean by “Remix is a significant time spent away from Retail/Classic”. Seems very out of touch, especially if you actually played remix.
And I felt my time was respected. Remix was a snowball effect in terms of grind and gain. The beginning was slow, but the more you upgraded. The faster everything came. So my time was definitely respected. Especially because I did everything, grinded everything, and bought everything available.
And then you take into account we had what? 3 months? And you could do everything in a month or less. Idk. I’m not worried.

I was talking about the weapons in mop that were drops only. If Blizzard should decide to add any appearance, weapons or otherwise, they need to be on a vendor. You would know that if you played MoP Remix instead of posting 50 times a day on the forums.

I did play Mists Remix. All of the achievements are right there in the Armory. Maybe you should have checked that first before needlessly being hostile.
That doesn’t negate the fact that there were no weapons in Legion like there were in Mists. It was simply information that this one is probably going to be different since the only weapons we had were the artifacts.
Make everything available. Rip the bandaid off and laugh at the FOMO people who gOt iT wHeN iT wAs CuRreNt (so did i get over it)
