Legion remix should not include legion raid and dungeon mounts

Legion remix would already be worse than MoP remix if they came out the gate with lame vendors without the cosmetics people are looking for. They should take lessons learned from MoP remix to make Legion remix better, not worse.

There are so many mounts in the game now I don’t think its a problem letting people get old crusty mounts off a vendor during an event they participate in.

if they are old crusty mounts, wouldn’t u rather get new and better looking mounts?

Yes, and I do. But I am a collector so I like to get both.

can you not just get the old mounts from the raid bosses where they currently are?

Oh yes, just politely ask the raid/dungeon boss to hand over the mount. Nobody’s ever thought of that before.

I know it will be a shocker,
but I played remix and I didnt buys all mounts from that vendor.
I think I bought a few, though, mnhhh cool and never used them.
Image how much I am losing on the prestige (which I got almost for free).

Back in Legion, some people afk’d in LFR, as some people would normally do in LFR, and on Felhound of Sargeras, the AFK would also sometimes get lucky for the Antoran Charhound mounts, despite doing absolutely nothing.

but what about the work
oh horror

Lol 5 !! No, it’s not five !! Try again !

yes i would agree with that

All the mounts that drop from Legion Raids and Dungeons:

Mount Location
Midnight Eternal Reins Return to Karazhan (Mythic)
Smoldering Ember Wyrm Return to Karazhan (Mythic)
Living Infernal Core The Nighthold (Normal, Heroic and Mythic)
Fiendish Hellfire Core The Nighthold (Mythic)
Abyss Worm Tomb of Sargeras (All Difficulties)
Antoran Charhound Antorus, The Burning Throne (All Difficulties)
Shacked Ur’zul Antorus, The Burning Throne (Mythic)

Oooh popcorn!!! Is there extra? And where is our little gnome that hands out cookies???

 :joy:  :joy:  :joy: Oh yes, definitely!!! Because the act of removing mounts from Mythic raids will magically cure all the reasons players do not/cannot run Mythic raids while they’re relevant!!! Things like: slower reflexes due to age, vision impairments, arthritis in digits/wrists, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, caring for small children/disabled family members/aging family members/ill family members and other disabilities which can make play in such situations more difficult and/or taxing to the other members of the raid.

So you would benefit from a Remix where these mounts would be offered then? Either, as the Tusks of Mannoroth were, from their original bosses or (because I doubt your “don’t really care to have them either” statement) on a vendor. I didn’t get the Tusks when Pandaria was relevant because I choose not to try to run Mythic content. I have disabilities and I feel I would be a burden on the rest of the team, so I do not try (this would be public teams as my guild is now so scattered it’s rare to have even 2 of us on at the same time). Let those who are able do what they like. BUT, I got the Tusks during the Remix event. Yes, I was carried through… I think 2 of the raids but the third was alts and we didn’t finish it in record time. In fact, if a couple of the members had not switched out for their mains we probably wouldn’t have finished at all but the point of them starting the group in the first place was to get the Tusks for more people. All of Remix was like that and in all honesty it was more like when I first started playing WoW.

@Serphim - That Panda will not only be bald by the time you get done with him, he’ll also be missing half his head! (For those who get upset over pronouns, I’m referencing the Avatar, not assuming the gender of the OP.)

Look how many replies this thread has gotten. And yes, I’m guilty of feeding the troll too, they’ll likely explode soon if they haven’t already. This person plays and is absolutely trolling to keep the thread going.

I bought them because by the time I found out about the 30th Anniversary box, which contained codes for the mounts, they were not only all sold out, but a metric boatload were already listed on Ebay even though the scalpers didn’t have them in their hot little hands yet. Or maybe only 2 of them were in the box and 2 new ones were added to the bundle, I don’t recall.

I am not so sure but we’ll find out when it launches.

Agreed. They should definitely buff the droprates during Remixes AND drop more than one, especially since I am certain they will NOT adjust the ridiculous Bronze requirement for gear upgrades. That was one hill they stuck to during MoP Remix.

LMAO, Pot>Kettle, little one.

I consider the WoW Store to be a vendor, and OP is absolutely in favor of that. So not anti-vendor, just anti-Remix-vendor.

Not sure you should give the little one any ideas for their future life…

There’s that claim again. Where DO you get your information? Might be a good idea to just toss that used toilet paper into the toilet & flush it rather than attempting to read the stains.

No, OP is a troll who just wants to keep the thread going. WAY up above, Rankin may have missed it (because let’s face it, 1.3k posts is A LOT of posts to read) someone stated that OP creates these trolling threads quite often. The best thing to do is ignore OP, but sadly we’d have to keep doing it once they switched characters & made a new thread. If only we could ignore the account…

They’ll be power leveling alts no matter what. The ability to farm mounts would be icing on the cake. That was the other big draw for MoP Remix - super fast alt leveling.

Perhaps for someone with a lot of spare time. You have to remember though, people from ALL walks play this game and for some, 32k was not something they could do in a day. I was ok with the the costs for those mounts even though it took me YEARS to farm them. It’s not like those who bought them didn’t have to grind in a different manner, not to mention if we wanted to upgrade our gear the bronze costs ran into the millions. Keep that in mind when deciding people should need to grind even MORE millions if they want what the vendors have to offer, also remember that there were TONS of other items available like toys & cosmetics.

I have them favorited (is that a word? It’s a WoW-ism!) and I use the “Summon Random Favorite Mount” button.

(I know it’s sarcasm.) No matter HOW MANY times I’ve politely asked, begged and/or threatened Skadi & Slabhide, they have simply laughed in my face and not given me their mounts. Buttheads.

Yes I would but I still think it would be bad for the game and reduce player metrics to add rare mounts to a remix vendor.

And I certainly wouldn’t be using the remix vendor to get the mounts

Would you care to fully explain:

How come adding mounts into a vendor that you’ll still have to play to earn is bad for the game, but in-game shop where if you want a mount, all you have to do is pull out a credit card, is good for the game?

In-game wowshop sales provide extra profit to blizzard which then allows blizzard to make more content for us.

So, pulling out a credit card to get items without playing the game is good for the game, but playing the game to earn the rewards is bad for the game?

More money for blizzard equals more and better content in the game for us to enjoy.

Except, that hasn’t been the case, has it? If you, I dunno, played the game, then you’ll see it is the complete opposite.

Plus also, if you want people to play the game, then you’ll need a reward structure for playing the game. Development helps develop the game, but that isn’t money that develops the game, that is people with talents in gaming development. So, if you want people to enjoy the game, then you got to reward the players for playing the game, and enjoying the game.

You’re logic of “having rewards in game for playing the game is bad but pulling out a credit card for items is good” is flawed, and is stupid. Because Microtransactions do not help the game, and actually kill off the games, lower populations, etc. And there is too many other games as very prime examples.

I have all of them except 3 hopefully 2 or 1 more left before this buff is over.

Most people would have those all of those mounts anyways before Legion remix, it doesn’t matter if they were tossed in for purchase. Blizzard needs bait for people to play Legion remix and to keep the farming for coins alive like they did with MoP remix.

The price for those mounts will be steep to get like in MoP remix

I have 3 of them. Only one I’m not farming is the one that drops off Argus, because Eonor is a pain to solo, especially if wanting the transmog.
