With the Legion Remix we will get an increased difficulty “world tier” called the Shattered Timeline. An alternate timeline where “everything went worse”.
This makes me wonder exactly how that would work. Would it this be a matter of the mobs being buffed or could we see alternate timeline quests and events. Like could we see Mayla leading a campaign to reclaim Thunder Totem from Torok Bloodtotem or Fel corrupted versions of Azeroth’s champions as enemies.
This is what has me the most excited, as I basically play WoW like a boomer now. Someone compared it to Diablo in a video I was half paying attention to. Whether that was D3 or D4, I don’t know. Nor do I know what Diablo feature it was even imitating.

instead of broken shore they landed on timeless isle shore and monopolized gulp frog spawns for ultimate power in this timeline
Considering how ludicrously powerful remix characters get, being able to solo normal raids at the zenith of their power, I can’t imagine any sane overworld mode that could pose a challenge to a tweeked out timewalking character
