Rescue mission is broken. When I get to the point where Alleria (or whoever) is being drained on the platform and you’re meant to rescue her, nothing else happens. There’s a fel fire wall blocking progress and you cannot target the boss. Relogging does nothing, can’t seem to even drop the quest. I looked on these forums and this bug has been around since Legion. To rehash this content and not fix this bug that has been here for years… Y’all still get paid?

Same here. I have no idea how to proceed and I spent 30-40 minutes trying to figure out if I missed something. Buggy stuff with the Mimiron quest too. Had to run it twice to get it to let me finish. Levelling my Rogue was smooth, but I chose Hunter as my second and I regret every bit of it.
you have to aoe the boss with your ranged auto attack or spells get close enough to it will work. Once you take down the boss the wall comes down.

Hey, just putting this out there, this quest is bugged but it IS POSSIBLE to complete still. The guy is supposed to come through the fel wall, but if he doesn’t look up on the alcove, behind all the green glowing orbs. He SHOULD be there, for some reason he won’t come down, but you SHOULD be able to kill him, especially if you have a pet out. You can’t get up there, but your pet can. Otherwise, you may be able to kill him. I just did this on my Hunter moments ago, so i know this is possible at the very least. I hope it helps future Marksmen~!
It gets more annoying than this. I couldn’t even attack him. Even ran up the side of the green pool bypassing the barrier and stood next to him and couldn’t attack. Traps, aoe, pets, no skill in the book works. I had to port out of the zone and fly back in to reset her escort quest at the begging of the zone. 10 years and Blizzard cant be bothered to fix this.
