but they as of remix announcement a few months ago have said
no return of CM sets.
and this with a decade of players asking for it.
They say many things and nothing is set in stone. If I have learned one thing for playing since MoP, then you never should take a wow developer seriously.
At one point the CM sets will come back.
by that point, no one will want them anymore because they are pixelated garbage.
and i mean, a point in 10 years or so
It’s mostly about transmogging and getting the right fit/colors. For this reason alone they need to release them to the public. WoW is plagued with awful decision-making, which hurts the integrity of the game in the long run. That’s why they invented the Trading Post, to fight FOMO and lack of race/class transmog diversity.

every single monthly reward was released instead on the shop afterwards. so far i think 4 have come back but to the shop
its fomo free stuff before having to pay 20 bucks to get it later
It depends on whom you’re talking to. They have to juggle three customers in a rotation:
They top it off with recolor mounts/weapons, which were never released before, older promotional items and the things they have in their rotation.
You’re likely will never use all of those three categories mentioned above. You want the feeling of being a completionist but not the item, you will actually use.

If they bring back MT appearances then some players will complain for CM and Elite sets to come back too which I think blizz doesn’t wanna deal with that, they will probably just bring out a recolor of the werebear and some other limited items, they didn’t bring back CM sets so it’s best to assume they won’t bring back MT appearances so peeps won’t be disappointed when remix happens and they don’t come out.
All these years and they still haven’t made them obtainable again, they’re trying to make exclusive pvp items easier to obtain but are still taking them off once the season is over
First of all, legion classic is dumb, but then again I’m of the opinion that anything past wrath is dumb.
Second, even if they did, the artifacts transmog would be locked to classic.
Legion remix is highly possible. I’ve seen two youtubers I follow talking about it as a possibility.
As for the mage tower skins, I would love to get a chance to get more of them but as different color variants (I only got 3 of them when they were current) but they didn’t do the challenge mode sets in MoP remix so it’s doubtful they’ll do the Legion mage tower appearances.
It is gonna be wod first. Hopefully. I am still missing some toys/mounts.
I’m quite the opposite! I’m enjoying Cata classic probably more than the previous releases.
And yeah I don’t think anyone’s under illusions anything will transfer over. But at that stage it’s essentially retail and retail so I’m sure many players will just move over to their expansion of choice.
I would like to try the other druid challenges. I rejoined late in Legion and only got VDH, havoc, all warlock, monk tank and dps, and just the balance for druid. Then time ran out.
and if speculation is true, after our trilogy ends we will have “wow2”. So I would love to see more players get to earn FOMO things. It is a game after all.
