Everyone who played during Legion has been hoping for the return of Mage Tower artifact skins, whether in their original form or with new variants. But apparently, they’re not bringing them back… yet they are bringing back the Argus AOTC mount. Personally, I believe AOTC mounts should stay exclusive, but artifact skins and the MoP Challenge Mode sets absolutely shouldn’t.
And I say this as someone who owns most of the Mage Tower skins and the AOTC mount. If they’re not going to bring back the original skins, at least make new ones for the Mage Tower, or even new sets. It’s not that hard; if they can do fan-service for elitists, they can give some service to the player base as a whole.

I agree, there’s absolutely no reason to timegate any of these rewards that hardly even took skill at the end of the expansion. There will be trolls who don’t own any weapons who find any excuse to defend blizzards decision.
But timegating, something they did, doesn’t equal “historic” or “prestige.” It’s gating. Bring them back, especially feral and druids are suffering enough.

They should offer recolors of the MT appearances imo. Save the originals for the pearl clutchers and give another variant as a thing for remix. I’d bet a good number of players weren’t around for Legion, so it’s honestly pretty lame to not give them even the same style but a different color to stand alone as a aremix specific thing.
I’m not really hype for it because I was hoping for some recolors, especially sparkle kitty, but I will probably play it a little bit.

The only person I know who cares about it is my mount farmer buddy in my guild. Literally no one else I know who plays any version of WoW cares.
I’ll let you know if I see anyone on my friends list playing it. I have a diverse list, there’s usually someone on each version.

I’m not. I have no interest fel recolored mounts, timegated content, weekly chores, “challenging” content or another weapon talent system.
I wanted Remix, not Classic Hard Mode.

Last Remix didn’t have CM appearances either. So no… Remixes aren’t for CM appearances.
Just toss some recolors of those MT weapons onto the Trading Post.

Right, because heaven forbid we put in any actual effort or reward skill in a Remix. Sure, let’s just keep tossing recolors on the Trading Post until the sun burns out… after all, why give players something meaningful when you can hand out palette swaps like candy?

There’s new stuff?? Sigh… Guess I better check it out. I have every tmog and thing from Legion I could possibly want, including paragon mounts and the curious coin turtle and the raid achieve mounts.

I have the BDK mage tower appearances too lul.
Given what this one is offering its just stupid though. They’re arbitrarily claiming those are some sort of special thing when they’re not… they were just timegated.
The concepts of Remix’s are to let us go back and experience things again in a fun and rewarding format. That they’re locking anything off is just pointless and stupid.
They knew full well that one of the major things people would want with a Legion Remix would be to finally get those weapon appearances again. Especially for those who weren’t around at the time either because they couldn’t be or weren’t playing yet.
And honestly the idea that any item should be un-obtainable is stupid. Thats what Feat of Strength achievements are for…
