Legion Remix has serious issues

Not sure if this is just a PTR stability issue or if this is something specific to Remix itself, but I’m getting constantly disconnected and having my character’s position and equipped items rolled back.

Where is the “infinite power” I keep supposedly gathering? My Fire mage is level 32. He has +11% Intellect, +74% Stamina, +925 Stamina (why are there two values here?) and +494 Speed on his Infinite Power buff. My total Speed stat is 560. It’s way overcapped. It doesn’t actually go above 49%. For some reason, I have two 580 ilvl trinkets, both with Stamina on them. So my HP has ballooned to 293K. Most of my gear has Crit and Haste on it. My Crit is at 55%, which is nice for a Fire mage because of the Hot Streak mechanic. But my Intellect is still only 303. My passive damage procs on my artifact are doing more damage than my actual spells, or at least that’s how it feels. I don’t have damage meters.

MoP Remix was a work of art. We actually had “infinite power.” We got loads of primary and secondary stats through our cloak threads. All I’m getting in this Remix is Stamina and Speed, and I don’t need any more Speed.

If all this is intended, please tell us why. What is the design intent here? What is your vision for Legion Remix? Why have you taken away the largely deterministic stats and gearing from MoP Remix and replaced it with RNG? We could really use some communication on all of these issues.

Speed does definitely go higher on remix than 49% so I believe they at least raised the cap on that for the event. The disconnects started 3 days ago with the patch that was deployed and it’s been horrible ever since. I do agree with the Infinite Power not feeling very powerful though… Every character just feels weak and it doesn’t feel “Remixy”. The RNG is just TOO MUCH… Especially RNG on getting sands to upgrade the iLvl of your artifact weapon… When you try and level with XP Bonuses your gear FAR outlevels your weapon and then enemies are scaling to your average iLvl and your weapon is around 70 iLvls behind your average causing you to do almost no damage to their immense HP pools.

Are you sure speed can go higher? I wonder if it’s something only certain classes can push beyond 49% because they already have passive movement speed buffs from talents and such.

They go higher in remix. You have buffs that make you faster and if you’re already past 49% and the buff kicks in you can visually see that you’re moving faster.
