Legion Remix getting rid of all the magic that made MOP remix fun

  1. You are WEAK, they have capped EVERY secondary stat. Mastery used to scale with the wepaoon btu the decided even that is too much fun and now made it gear that competes with other gear. SO you have crit mastery haste verse all compete with a 15% cap of 1 stat on a piece of gear so good luck having any type of fun.

.2 Main stat does not scale with more threads no more farming threads for fun you just get stamina nothing to speed anything up just making you bigger hp sponge.

  1. This TANKS the main thing people loved about MOP doing raids to lvl alts quickly and with other people. Speaking of raids and leveling only 3 are available to first two weeks.
  2. EXP boosts are LIMITED

Heyo!

Thandertoten the derpy shaman here! (Remix PTR)

Seriously. All of this is so facts.

Can we please get the MOP Remix stats back? The gear changes and all of that are whatever, but this is supposed to be a FUN game mode where we get stupid powerful, do +100 keys, and and feel like absolute gods for a little while for fun. Currently Everything feels worse than actual legion leveling. Seriously, Leveling in Legion was faster!

I know yall need feedback from the players, and not many people are really testing remix stuff, so here is your feedback – IT SUCKS.

People LOVED MOP Remix because they could just have fun with it. Right now you would need to grind harder than retail TWW to get anywhere. How is that fun? Do any of your Remix devs actually play the game? Right now it feels like they are just throwing -excrement- at a wall to see what sticks. Guys and Gals and otherwise, MOP Remix was the foundation for what people wanted in Remix. The artifact weapon stuff is an amazing idea, and we like it. Why steal away mastery? Why give us MORE SPEED??? WHO NEEDS THAT MUCH SPEED SERIOUSLY! Just make this mode fun. Stop trying to min-max fun.

Ok, rant over. Devs, Please pay attention to the players. We are the reason you supposedly have passion in your projects, and Legion Remix could be the best thing you could ever have on a resume, but if its this terrible when it goes live - you just as well have a felony record, because no one will see it as a positive.

I have to agree… It just doesn’t feel like Remix. I’ve been on testing nonstop since the PTR opened and after getting 3 characters to level 80 (I have no life) I can safely say that it doesn’t feel as fun and exciting as MoP Remix did. If they release it in it’s current state with everything limited like this it’s going to flop. I don’t know why they would think with MoP Remix being such a HUGE hit with the playerbase that changing everything that made it fun would be a good idea.

It feels like they are trying to make everything as grindy and time consuming as possible at release (while also withholding a bunch of content) without totally causing the mode to flop, then as phases release, have plenty of room to buff everything so they can pull the whole ‘see we are listening’ routine.

I agree 100%, MOP Remix was so fun to level, to boost people, to solo, to farm…I loved it all. This feels so disappointing. In MoP you knew how to level your gear and could see a clear goal of how to get there. Now, you just hope for RNG luck on your 10 item conversion. I was able to get top gear and all of the cosmetics I wanted, all of the mounts, all of the pets. It was so much fun, it even got my wife to play again. Now it is nothing like it was. If today, I wanted to be a helpful GOD, I would run people through anything to level their alts. Tomorrow, I could level an alt. Please Please Please go back to how it was. It is what many of us have waited for since MoP Remix closed.

One thing I miss from Panda, is the Thread Achievements, that gave your alt’s super powers. They do have a bit of that, but it seems like they nerfed it into the ground. I mean I don’t want to be all negative, there are lot’s of good things they have done, the powers on the artifacts some look cool (even if they aren’t that powerful yet). Hopefully this early Alpha is just to see what they need to tune. Fingers crossed.

i’m calling it now, the fact that they had all this feedback that the tuning felt underwhelming and that it needed to be majorly buffed and they decided to nerf it, Midnight is not going to be good its gonna be another shadowlands situation where they double down on the negative stuff because Dev’s know best.

I was afraid that they might be planning to crush the insane power levels of MoP Remix when they announced timed Raid releases and a different difficulty setting for the open world.

When the design goal is to overpower content (as it was in the previous Remix), adding difficulty levels is kind of pointless.

Trying to bring controlled progression to Remix will kill the whole vibe of it. Group forming will go from “anyone welcome” to “you must be this tall to ride this ride”.

Yeah, I can’t wait for “Must be at least XXX% Main stat to join”

Trust me it is going to be all about item level, just like live.
The D Team that is on this trying to turn this into some type of classic iteration.

My previous feedback post was removed because I did not have game time. I’ve remedied that. And since I didn’t save my post prior to removal… I’ll feedback a little harder.

Current status of Legion Remix Is Not Fun. Its Limited, its contained, its worse than retail. Its far worse than MoP Remix.

MoP Remix had a more limited scope of content compared to Legion Remix. YET people were happy to run the same content over and over because the concept of being overpowered gods was incredibly fun. It was also due to the grind of getting specific items that weren’t available for bronze. Being powerful made the grind easier.

Do you think people are going to enjoy having to do 4x the similar grind when they’re not at all powerful and are just going retail levels of slow?

And yes. I know that at the START of MoP Remix, you weren’t powerful. However you got powerful pretty quickly and that not only stayed consistent, but it GREW to insane levels by the time you reached max level.

This is NOT the case with Legion Remix. Where by leveling you still feel weaker than everything else, the power you’re given is not substantial enough, and that includes the gear. By 60-70, the ilvl jumping gets nutty, and you’re feeling it all the way through, and not in a good way. This goes doubly so for heroic mode which doesn’t even feel rewarding for what it is.

And I liked the idea of heroic mode! I enjoyed the challenge that things hit harder and I had to think about keeping myself alive, even as a tank. But around 70, your DPS just doesn’t keep up and it takes forever to kill for little to no benefit (currently). Affix mobs don’t really reward you for your efforts here either. Killing the big elite demon dude? Not much.

And the limiting/capping stats, and keeping your power Limited? In Remix? When MoP Remix was advertised, the biggest draw was the idea that you could be super powerful at insane levels and solo content.

Currently that’s not really feasible even for the idea of soloing a Mythic. At this rate you can get the Mythic experience at a worse than retail experience. Unless the removal of Versatility was on accident? Even then.

It really just feels both more like retail and WORSE than retail.

One of the coolest parts of MoP Remix was seeing how insane stats effected your abilities, and how that went for each class. The insane amount of ghosts that Shadow Priests would spawn was one of the highlights of MoP for me. I had thought I would be able to do the same with Legion Remix…

But that doesn’t really feel possible right now when everything feels so intentionally contained.

You should create your own post stating this same exact thing. This needs to be hilighted more because I agree. I was looking for this to be closer to what MoP Remix was at least in essence. This is something COMPLETELY different that has NONE of the same feel that I got when I first logged into MoP Remix and couldn’t stop playing because I was having so much fun.

wait… WHAT’S THE POINT THEN!? We’re supposed to be over powered! Who the heck asked for balances!? PVP players!? Are people seriously complaining about something that’s supposed to be broken, be fun for ONCE!

OH going off that another stupid deicision was limiting the unlimited scaling to level 80 so alts will not feel any more powerful than when you did the content the first time.

Why bother?

One week on the PTR and I’m already bored out of my mind because I’m not feeling the “fun” of leveling alts fast and feeling more powerful than you can on Retail… It just isn’t there.
