Talking to Chromie at level 50 does nothing. She has some flavour text pointing you towards Icecrown (the pre-patch event that is delayed). You can’t go into “Chromie Time” at level 50, Chromie Time is purely a levelling option to get to 50. Mobs are correctly level 45 in Legion content.
If you’ve found a way, that would likely be a bug, and should probably get reported in the Bug Report forums.
I haven’t attempted anything besides Mythic EN, and my kill times were about the same or slower now. The loss of corruption stuff was a rough hit to warriors.
