I hit level 50 by completing the quest to get the Hammer of Khaz’goroth, but before I could return to Dalaran to turn it in and get completion for the relic being placed I got ported to Orgrimmar for the end of the Timewalking Campaign. The quest disappeared from my questlog and I can no longer deliver the Hammer, which means I can’t get the artifact appearance related to getting all 4 of them. The quest name is The Hammer of Khaz’goroth.
I’m having issues with this too. I’ve searched the forums to see what I missing, and can’t find it. I’ve run this dungeon three or four times now, and the first time I did, I went back to my hall to store it, and now there is the gold translucent outline. But the other artifacts are solid and in place. I also do not have credit for it in the achievements, though I am getting the pillars of creation quest line. Not sure what’s missing here.
Actually doing the quests to get them is not a pre-req for this quest, so it’s normal for it to show up even if you don’t have all of them collected.
Have you completed “Neltharion’s Lair: Death to the Underking?” It’s required before the Hammer will give you “The Hammer of Kaz’goroth.” Go to the cave around 53,70 and see if Mayla has “Death to the Underking” quest for you. If you’re sure you’ve done it and still can’t get “The Hammer of Kaz’goroth” I’d put in a ticket.
I have completed Neltharian’s lair and have the Hammer of Khazgoroth but am unable to locate where to turn it in. I have gone to Dalaran and there is no location on my map to return the hammer. Can someone please assist?
Take the teleporter pad in the central building in Dalaran. Run down the main hallway, and about halfway down is the area where you collect all of the artifacts. The turn in is there.

Sorry to be a bother. I found the pad but am unable to locate the location in Org to actually get the High Mountain Tauren. I went into the Embassy but there is no where to complete the quest? Do I have to be a level 60 to complete this questline or what am I missing?
I think that to do the Highmountain Tauren unlock chain you need to be 45. (Which is the cap for Legion.)
I actually completed the quest on my Druid who is level 52 but still am unable to get the High Mountain Tauren. I will ask on of the Game Masters, but thanks for all of your assistance.
If you meet the level requirement and have the “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” achievement, then the most likely issue for not being able to pick up the quest in the Embassy is a phasing problem. Unfortunately, Ogrimmar is a bit of a phasing nightmare. It’s also important to note that in some cases, just being eligible for a quest can affect phasing (so you can’t always just abandon quests to “fix” phasing.)
Some of the more common quests that can cause issues:
If you’ve started but not completed one of the other allied race quests.
If you’ve started but not completed various expansion’s intro quests.
Various parts of the BfA War Campaign.
