Your logic is flawed as the game has made plenty of difficult to obtain content easier when it becomes old. The only thing that determines this is Blizzard.

As a previous post has said (and myself MANY times at the moment these things became a thing), these should of been vendor mounts, not a damn loot crate/something that’s being treated like an elusive raid/dungeon type mount.

They made the world quests give twice as much xp - that is reducing the requirement from how they were originally.

Things like that you play the game when it is current content - if you played when it was current you should have got most of them already. If you didn’t play then things are already twice as easy so I vote no to make them ridiculously easy.

That is doubtful. They generally don’t make cosmetics easier to get just because they are ‘old content’.

It took me two years to finally grind out the Nightfallen carpet mount. It took even longer (like… a couple months ago) to get the Dreamweaver unicorn.

I am not a fan of the paragon mounts, and I feel genuine sympathy for anyone going for them nowadays. I’m lucky, I got most of them while Legion content was current, so I was at least doing meaningful things.

But now? It’s a pointless, RNG-based grind. And I have no idea why Blizz thought it was a good idea, not only in the first place, but apparently, they STILL like it, considering the Nazjatar reps have them, too.

Remember the green proto drake? Thats going back to wrath! Although at least that was rep grinded only once. Just on an rng 3 day lock out.

That was annoying but I can accept that easier than getting to exalted several times over before getting the mount.

Meanwhile we get traditional rep mounts back in BFA and Alliance complain that every single one is a horse.

I mean, they could have not totally phoned it in and given us some variety. Nobody likes things that are done half-tail

It isn’t being ignored. You have to earn 10k reputation to get each cache.

First, RNG is RNG. Second, it assumes when content was current everyone was doing every WQ everyday. Doesn’t change the fact it was a bad decision to put mounts in those caches unfortunately.

I have, there are plenty of scenarios in this game I will not subject myself to. I’m working towards the blue unicorn, will be at 92 reps sometime soon, but still, these RNG systems are a bit of a plague on the game now.

Actually, the recent rep bonus to the Broken Isles is the closest they have gotten to addressing the system since implementing it. Bad back then, bad now.

Do you even play this game? Typically this content is made available to walk into after the expansion is done. There is no reason to suspect they would treat this any differently than they did MoP scenerios.

MoP’s scenarios no longer award anything though. I’m gonna try to get all island mounts before SL just in case.

I went back to them to finish some achievements. Given the amount of cosmetics they put in those and the fact there isn’t anything special about them, they aren’t likely to make this expansion only content.

It did take them awhile to fix LFR and old raids in general to be able to go back and farm them for transmogs. (Multiple xpacs for LFR) The difficulty is when they actually need to add something to be able to go back and do them. A problem with IEs is that you can’t do them solo. Going out of their way to address that and get it working is probably not something they’ll have ready at launch.

You’d be surprised. I get a paragon chest every few days by doing the 10 or so WQs per zone I’m farming. It’s especially fast with Darkmoon rep buff or the rep buff that just ended, where I was getting multiple a day sometimes.

I earned all these while they were current content so i wouldn’t have to go back and farm them.

sorry not sorry it’s hard to get them. Considering you can blow through the quests so easily now, it takes a fraction of the time compared to Legion.

The 10k is fine.
