Remember these?

Is there any chance Blizz will address the 10k rep requirement for these caches? I brought this up back in Legion, but of course this aspect of the game continues to be ignored.

All I want is for them to reduce the rep requirement significantly. I tried to get the unicorn during the rep bonus event but, of course, nothing.

To those who have these mounts, I admire your committment and perseverance, or your dumb luck in some cases.

Please Blizz, reduce the rep requirement to like 1000 so we can farm caches more effectively. In WoTLK you have a low chance to get a polar bear mount from a daily in the Storm Peaks, I don’t see how reducing the rep would be any different to that.

You’re asking Blizzard to let go of what they think is their golden goose at the moment: Introduce grinds and show numbers about engagement.

All I want is to get the mount faster with less effort.

I will do you one better and request that they be put in quartermasters’ inventories for sale once you hit exalted.

The idea of having to continue grinding rep just for a chance is irritating.

The problem is effort vs reward. Farming jelly for the bee mount is “effort” but you get what you work for. These are basically the rep mounts of Legion =/

I used multiple characters to farm these mounts, that way I had numerous attempts.

…just took a while to get them all to exalted!

There’s a ton of RNG mounts with low drop rate. I don’t see why the paragon mounts are an exception. They’re cosmetic, and it’s fine. There’s no law that requires you to have 400 mounts.

The exception is that there were the rep mounts we didn’t get at launch. Meanwhile we get traditional rep mounts back in BFA and Alliance complain that every single one is a horse.

So? It’s a different system for getting the mounts. Legion had rep mounts in Argus. If the paragon mounts are too much trouble, don’t go for them.

They’re really not that bad. I think they were all buffed between 3-10% chance at least. They seem pretty easy now; I say this as someone who farmed them well after Legion ended.

Stop asking for stuff to be easier that people have already farmed, it’s super self-absorbed.

And they made sure to not put mounts in the equivalent system in BFA.

Anyway, Blizz (and most forum posters) doesn’t care but here’s my post anyway.

That’s a funny thing to say when it’s what happens in every expansion or with new patch and raid tier, just not for mount specifically.

Do I think they will make them easier? No. The good news, though, is that you have a 5-6 month drought, so go ahead and farm away. If you think those are bad, check out the Prestigious Bloodforged Courser by the way.

I care. I don’t want them to be made easier to obtain. I like that some things are rarer than others.

PS I don’t have the legion paragon mounts. So this isn’t a case of “I had to do it the hard way!”

I agree, I wish they were originally added to a rep vendor.
But they werent.

You know whats really bad for a game like WoW? When people work for things knowing that if they just dont do it that it’ll eventually became super easy for them. That’s been a trend with WoW lately.

Look at the corruption vendor, Paragon boxes in Legion, and the Island Expeditions.

Once something is introduced it should receive no changes unless it is broken.

I have them all, and I still heavily support this message.

But because I did the work, I got to enjoy the benefits long before the guy who just waited around.

Well Island Expedition mounts were addressed, is anyone complaining about that? How dare they add currency with loot boxes full of goodies to help people get the stuff RNG wouldn’t allow them.

Island mounts are still RNG from those damn boxes. I bought 8 crates this week in hope of getting parrot. But nope.

Yes! Yes they were, and I am still mad about them.
I burned myself out on those damn islands back when it was stupid RNG and complicated loot rules to qualify for drops. Then they made it 10x easier, I was already done.

Same thing with the corruption vendor.

And they fixed it what, a year after it had been out?
You’re wanting them to go and nerf a farm that is like 3-4 years old.
