same issue. i created a ticket and they said it was “fixed” i send the same SS and was told to create a bug report. i told them i have created a bug report everyother day on the same issue. and nothing.
Same issue with my Paladin… stuck on Falling Star. Quest icon shows Khadgar to be 160m below dead center in Dalaran Island.
Same issue. i cannot even Finish the Mage Class Hall Quest Line as well as hunting down Illaden Stormrage…
still broken as of 09/06/24. just checked and khadgar is not at the landing or citadel.
Also realised this completely blocks the entire Suramar campaign as well. I cannot understand how this is STILL NOT FIXED YET?!?!?!?!
Outdated content is not a high priority.

Well considering how borked much of TWW also is, it seems it’s you and your luck what is considered “high priority” these days. Although this issue is of far greater import than anything that’s currently broken in TWW. Imagine if the entire TWW MSQ was broken and unable to even be started. That’s what this bug does to the entire Legion expac. It’s certainly a far more significant issue than buffing Earthen racials, lmao.

I guess this is where you realize the limitations of your opinions: they only matter to you. The devs will do what they’re told to do, and by historical observation that means “new content, then fixing current content bugs, then maybe old content bugs.”
To the game. One is a minor buff to a racial ability. The other is the break down of an entire expansions content.
My opinion is that that’s a LITTLE bit more significant than whatever is going on in TWW at the moment. I mean, at least you can play TWW. The same can’t be said for Legion.
Which, as far as I can tell, is perfectly fine by the devs.
You don’t have much influence over their priorities, at the end of the day. You can definitely ask, using the correct feedback mechanisms (like a bug report for a bug), but that doesn’t obligate them to act on your feedback. Ultimately, they offer the game as-is and you play it as-is, or you don’t play it at all.
I never claimed I did, lmao. This is a bug report forum. I’m reporting a bug. It’s not up to you to triage the bugs. That’s up to the devs. I’m just pointing out the fact that this bug is much larger in it’s impact than any bug that’s currently affecting TWW.

No argument there, but if the development team values content currency or participation, fixing outdated content is a losing proposition. They certainly can make a couple dozen players game-wide happy by fixing assorted outdated content, at the expense of continuing the discontent of literally hundreds of thousands of players inconvenienced in TWW, but that’s a losing numbers game.
I get that it’s old content. But I’ve yet to ever encounter a bug in old content that has had such a massive impact on an entire expac than this bug has had on Legion. Unless perhaps there’s been bugs that blocked you from setting up your WoD garrison? Not that I’ve encountered one for WoD. Not even the Cata or BfA MSQs has been borked in such a way and those are MSQs that are also intertwined in newer expac phasing.
